    Thank you for watching everyone! The A95K appears warm on camera as the sensors pick it up that way, and it's only noticeable in comparison to the others. Their was no winner announced simply because Hisense donated it, then turned into a showcase rather than a competition. Thanks again for watching!

    TCL QM8 looks closest to the LG G3 which is really impressive considering the cost difference! Mini led is very close to oled! The Hisense U8K would be a better comparison.

    The underdog U7K did amazing actually, in my eyes at least it was very similar to the LG as far as shadow details and colors....considering it wasn't a fair comparison since the U8K would had been the right one.

    If you pause it at exactly 5:40 and compare the Squirrel pictures in detail, the fur the eye and especially the hand and whiskers there's only one that almost matches the G3 for detail and colour and that's the U7K. Amazing really when you consider the price difference!

    Brian thank you for the video, your dedication towards providing us with valuable information is commendable. You mentioned that the u7k you had at home performed better when compared to the one in the video. Do you think it’s because of the va panel that Hisense used in the 65” and the ads panel used in 75” one? I was planning on buying the 75” u7k.

    I like that you mentioned build quality. I only really paid attention to picture quality and never gave much consideration to build quality (especially for a bedroom TV) until I received a TCL QM8 with a cracked screen. I was shocked to see how flimsy the screen appeared to be. It looked like a cheap polycarbonate screen protector you see cracked on people's phones vs the nicer screens I'm used to. Now, that's probably not an issue for most folks, but these are definitely going to be more easily damaged. I can tell where costs were cut. People need to be careful unboxing and setting up that thing. It ended up being replaced by an LG OLED.

  • @BRIANSTECHTHERAPY

    @BRIANSTECHTHERAPY

    Great question! The a9G is legendary and is the first Sony oleds master series. However, it wasn't the brightest oled. The A95K is much brighter with more color and superior processing, not to mention all the gaming features. Dolby Vsion is also better as Sony's dolby vision was very dark. All that said, I'd still wait for the A95L to drop as it will be a better upgrade, and it will also drive down the price of the a95K. Hope this helps.

    The QN90B is terrible with blooming. It only has 720 dimming zones. Not even close comparatively to the MQ8 with 5000. That said, TCL hasn't put them all to best use IMHO. They could do better, with a better processor and software. Maybe the 2024 models will do even better.

    My eyes get drawn to the QM8 the most, TCL really did good with this model! The only thing I noticed was sometimes the colors seemed a tad over processed and didn't have the gradient control the Sony displays and then it appeared kinda blotchy in areas. Particularly the green on the Iguana, Chameleon, and frog... but deeper greens can be a notoriously hard color for LCD based TV's. The Sony just seemed off to me, which is very unusual. The Sony had very good color control, but honestly seemed blah overall. It looked over brightened and thus kinda washed out... which just seems very un Sony. Hisense is definitely good for the price, but I always feel they're just a step or so behind TCL. LG is of course extremely good, but I don't think anyone with G3 money will cross shop a Hisense or TCL anything. The G3 is too high end/niche for most people, the average person is goin for the C3.

    @@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY It’s honestly beyond me. It’s all over the internet for months now. Sony fans been saying it’s the best t.v and tv of the year beating existing tv yet no one has seen it. Seems like internet people just say whatever they have read somewhere. A95L is an OLED tv and it has to deliver like any other product. It can’t be given title of best t.v when no one has really seen it!

    You stated that the units were all calibrated. Were the calibrations equally successful? I am stunned by how off the colors on the Sony appeared - you said that it was a camera issue, but most of the scenes seemed to have a strong cast, maybe magenta, on that screen only. TBH I'm watching this on a plasma that has had a basic cal but you're pointing out the relative differences which will mostly show up in any case. Are the colors of the different emitters that different between the Sony and the LG?

    Brian thanks for this video. BB would not have put all these 4 different models side by side for obvious business reasons. In fact the BB in my area, all the higher models of TCL QM8 would be in their back room, still in their boxes. Hisense U8K would be near the general TV display area, again still in their boxes on the show floor. None of the two were displayed with any videos, period. If it weren't for you guys Brian, and Fomo, the Installer etc , putting up videos like this, most average buyers would be steered to their expensive higher ends models of Samny, Sony and LGs. I like your disclosure on non brand loyalty. Also the philosophy ( Fomo same) of not stubbornly and overly fixated on so called " Director's Intent, or ACCURACY." People are draw to whatever that make their eyes " happy". For many occasions in Dolby Vision material, the damn picture is so dark, especially Netflix, even on an outstanding OLED model, you don't see " Jack"!!!. My suggestion for your future videos, is not to identify the model and brand until near the end of you show. Many die hard or subconscious fans of certain brands would be surprised to find out how subjective and biased they're. For people would find anything good to say in their" brand" to support their bias if they know beforehand. I also respect your observations of people drawing to certain models without knowing the brand beforehand. I don't usually comment on videos I saw, but compelled to let you know, that you're doing a very good job. I agreed with your views and philosophy more often than not. Keep putting up good show like this to educate more average consumer. Also, could you comment on the reliability of Hisense? TCL got it good, how about Hisense?

    LG G3 is vibrant and is very high performance and clearly the winner to me! But the A95 has some better precise graphics at in different scenes just like the QM8 does also. But believe it or not the U7K has better contrast in some scenarios. But unfortunately the QM8 and U7K does have some noticeable blooming. Personally I'm still looking into getting the Hisense U7K because I need a good tv upgrade that isnt the price of a used car. Something thats still consumer budget friendly

    Rtings just finished the TCL M8 review. They said it had strange artifacts, and was not great at upscaling low content. In order to see this we need to see actual movies that have a lot of panning shots, or motion, and see if it's necessary to use motion control that might exhibit a soap opera effect. Or see some KZread or cable examples of real content. To me this is where the best of the best shines through. Nobody wants to be limited to the crappy movies they make nowadays!
