Both The TCL C728 and TCL C735 are 4K Ultra HD Android TV with a 55-inch display size. For the price vs spec's wise, I would go with tcl, but sony has a strong background. Depends with your budget

Well well I will tell this both tvs are great, the main things comes to the consumer. For example tcl c735 has 144Hz VRR panel while Hisense has 120Hz. The only downside of Hisense TV is the Vidaa OS compared to TCL which has google tv which is really good. You can never go wrong with either but I would go for TCL c735 because of the hdmi 2.1 and the speakers which are amazing

Can. You tell me what it's like viewing wide-screen movies. Are the black bars black in dark scenes or grey?

@paulmidgley8040 for the c728 the blacks are really good since it uses full array local dimming zones compared to the c735. But again c735 comes with some impressive features such as airplay. Yes both tvs have good black levels the only difference is the local dimming zones.

@moseswaweru I just bought the c745 and the bottom bar on wide-screen movies is more grey. I'm thinking of returning it for c728k as it has micro dimming.

I would advise you if you getting c728 avoid the one with the letter K. I haven't got a chance to get a review sample of the c745 yet.

Fortunately C745 has full array local dimming zones, so I believe you have to change the picture mode from standard to movie, and also disable power saving mode in settings. Let me know if that worked.
