THESE 2023 TCL really good as nice & bright TVS this year , i bought 85/TCL QM8 on sale for $2 GRAND & is f*n steal for the price , pic/blks & brightness is stunning...I bought hinsese 75U8H last year & the pic & Brightness is AWESOME great TV just lovin it .BUT this year looks like they went backsword on U8K is NOT that bright like U8H is & BLK is not that deep either, so looks like TCL QM8 took the Crown from them this year & I'm really happy with this NEW TCL , If u really wanna buy TV better off wait till BLK Friday to get the BEST deal & GET Mini LED TVS, the pic very VERY close to OLED as almost the same & is cheaper👍

but what u gotta know, mini-led TV's also have full array dimming zones. basically this TV replaces the tcl 5 series and the qm8 replaces the 6 series

Both look great A95KL just a bit brighter .

I had a 55" U7K ordered from Amazon but after this review I cancelled that order and ordered the TCL Q7. I think I was being swayed by the mini led of the Hisense and some rating scores on RTINGS. Thanks for your review!

Max Luv. Sometimes less is best when it comes down to a quality panel. U7K just was dirty and clunky. Q7 is so good that if I didn’t own larger options, I might would consider investing into it in larger form factor. If you don’t like it then all together you want something better but going lateral to U7K isn’t it if Q7 does not work for you.

I did kinda the same thing... I bought two hisense tvs u7k and u6k and the y were terrible, I mena like horribly bad, the motion was all jumpy and couldnt be fixed and sound quality was obcene.... Ended UP returning them and getting the q7 pro and im as happy as a dog with two tails

Good choice I was at Best Buy yesterday, talking to the employees & asked them about both of these TVs and they told me to go for the TCLQ7 after I told them on my likes and sad. They’ve been having a lot of returns on the U7K although still a really good TV I think Hisense has some work to do.

i wonder how my tcl r646 compares to the new q7 i bought the r646 bc it has mini led backlighting and the new q7 does not but i wonder if the q7 is still the better tv despite the lack of mini led backlighting i didnt buy the hisense u8k bc it needs more time in the kitchen as a brand in my imo would've went with the qm8 but it does not come in a 55 inch

I scooped a 55” inch for my gaming room and it’s worth it. $550 on prime day. It’s not the c2 downstairs but not much is. Really good picture and 120hz

I originally purchased the Samsung Q60 since it was on sale for Black Friday. My Hisense QLED from a few years ago developed some sick screen burn. My hope was to get an upgrade or at least equal value to that TV. After a week with the Samsung and doing more research, including reviews like this one, I returned it for the TCL. I was worried since I figured Samsung is the best, and perhaps they are in some areas. I am so glad I got this TV so far. After some calibration, the picture is amazing! For the value, it’s an excellent choice and I would recommend it for sure. I certainly like the picture more than the Samsung. Features are easy to use and the remote has a backlight which is pretty dope. Don’t sleep on this one!

I bought the 65inch Samsung Q60, but return it and got the 75inch crystal UHD because of the price similarities and people saying there’s really not a big difference , but that was wrong! I plan to return the crystal uhd. I’ve been looking at tcl q7 reviews . Is it really a great tv worth getting over Samsung ?! My experience with Samsung has been the longevity of the tv which is why I like them.

Great review I agree about the reds when viewing at Best Buy it was between this and the U7K but I'm leaning to the Q7 now thanks to you . I've owned the TCL R615 from 2018 and its still going strong , the reds were and are still amazing , and the whites remain white . All other colors are brilliant . TCL has come a long way can't be more satisfied . 😊😊

Do you have vertical lines through out your q7? I do but it almost looks like the led back lights but it’s kinda an eye sore

Do you think there is a massive difference between this and qm8? I live in a room with a tiny window. I know qm8 gets significantly brither. But i think it doesnt warrant an additional $500 for it. What do you think?

Yes there is for sure a different level in viewing angles and black levels, peak brightness.

Hey TKK. Thanks for the review. I am torn between this one (TCL Q7) and Hisense u7K. I have a room full of windows. Which one is better for bright rooms? I hate glare coming off the panel. It distorts the viewing experience.

For brightness and image quality overall which is better, the s95b or s90c? Don’t throw the 95c in there cuz I’m not a fan of that one connect box shiat. I considered the 95b last year but I went with the c2 cuz I wanted a smaller set that time. Now I’m opened to 55” in my room

S95B is no more. I would NEVER recommend that tv now that s90c is out. This from a day one owner of both. S90c all day.

I might not be the best person to ask about this type of stuff because I move on and I don’t have issues with holding onto the old. I can’t see why anyone would glorify the s95b because it’s not the same tv that it was point blank period.

So he might be so in love with S95B because that’s the tv that he made the commitment to financially to keep, I’m not sure. I love what everybody do on YT with TVs but my shit different. S95c doesn’t get stuck unless you are trying to do high refresh rate 4k gaming. Most people won’t even have a pc capable just gotta make sure that’s not your main use case. I don’t think you have any concerns.

@Animejook U7K has poor viewing angles. It’s not even about settings for me with that tv, it doesn’t look bad, I just think Q7 looks better. Average customer more than not isn’t going to be looking at adjusting those. So the out of the box with soft calibrating is the most real of a real between these budget options.

@@AllAboutTKK yea but when u spoke bout the Q7s viewing angels, it seemed like it was also not that great. So both TVs have poor viewing angels. Guess I’m not an average costumer, cuz if I guy a new set, I wonna make sure I’m gettin the most out of it. With PCs as well or w.e electronics.

@Animejook viewing angles aren’t great on any LED in my opinion, just think about my lineup. I got every QD-OLED there ever is. So the LED space is new to me it’s been since 2019 since I got one, but the Q7 looks better at an angle vs the U7K in my opinion.
