This was the first song I sent to the man I fell inlove with. He told me how he loved it and yet the song sounded so sad. Today I'm listening to it once more a little before his funeral. It's a semblance of our time together. Bittersweet.

My statements were not from a place of hate, but rather of truth. Not all men are worthy of reverence as not all women are worthy of affection because there are truths and virtues above mere existence. I am not concerned with the failings of character or the changing desires of other men and women which are hedonists/physicalists because they take themselves to the logical ends of their own world views. I care of my own and my family’s well-being in body and spirit. I recommend the same to any person.

I was immediately touched by this piece, and did some research on its history. It was dedicated to Emma Genton, governess to a family he often visited. She was infatuated with him and wrote him roughly 200 letters; he was friendly with her but didn’t share her affections. The mixed emotions are very palpable-love with a hint of sadness.

Whenever I listen to this, all I can picture is a beautifully haunting dance shared between two young people in love, who know their love is forbidden and so they only have this moment, on the dance floor, in a span of minutes, to imagine what could be between them. Once the dance is over, so is their love story, for this is the only moment they are allowed to even look at one another. As such, their dance becomes so much more than just a series of movements, it becomes like a silently expressed love story between the two of them.

But at the same time I feel melancholic listening to it, almost making me wanting to cry. It's like reviving a love story that you can't experience anymore,a fairy tale you were once in. this composition made me think about myself and my feelings. somehow loneliness became a blessing and I started my self-care routine. you can understand yourself much better when you begin to accept the silence and music of your thoughts. I began to be friends with my inner child. I began to understand my decisions and actions without condemnation. now I finally realize that everything I did is the result of what I went through. the hug I was looking for was mine.

I don't think "sad" would be the word for this. Melancholy perhaps, but more like nostalgic or wistful. But if course the beauty of art and music in particular is that it is whatever you see or hear it as. If it makes you feel sad, that is legitimate. If it makes you think of longing or passion, you aren't wrong. Don't listen to experts who want to define everything like it is science.

He’s expressing how he feels, and as a collective, we understand him. It’s truly beautiful.

I dont know but whenever i listen to this, I imagine the lifetime of the cosmos. Theres brief exchanges of energy, this energy keeps stockpiling, the world reaches its peak, and then everything slowly starts to succumb to its inevitable end, leading to equillibrium. The peak was beautiful as long as it lasted.

наверху отличный коммент к твоим словам: It feels like depression. Occasional, fleeting moments of upbeat melodies feel more like episodes of painfully self-aware mania among a constant bedrock of fear, and pain. From start to finish the song feels like a lifelong death throw. A beautiful dance of madness.
