Tbilisi to Kutaisi: Fast Train via Rioni Station
We traveled on the fast train from Tbilisi Central Railway Station to Rioni Station, then caught the #3 City bus to central Kutaisi. The train journey via Rioni Station takes about 3.5 hours, whereas the direct train to Kutaisi Station takes approximately 6 hours. Comfortable ride with a scenic route through the Georgian countryside.

Kami menempuh perjalanan dengan kereta cepat dari Stasiun Kereta Api Pusat Tbilisi ke Stasiun Rioni, lanjut naik bus Kota #3 ke pusat kota Kutaisi. Perjalanan kereta api ke Stasiun Rioni ini memakan waktu sekitar 3,5 jam, sedangkan kereta api yang langsung ke Stasiun Kutaisi memakan waktu sekitar 6 jam. Perjalanan yang nyaman dengan rute yang indah melalui pedesaan di Georgia.

Hello - First of all thanks sharing the video. Nice and informative. I have a question. Is Kutaisi Airport Station and Rioni Station same ? How much did the ticket cost from Tbilisi to Rioni ? Thanks

Hi, Trevor John! Kutaisi airport station and Rioni station are NOT THE SAME. If you take the first class, it would cost 25 GEL or around 9.2 USD (we took the first class on the video). The second class costs 14 GEL or around 5.2 USD. You're very welcome :)
