I play and like the green ones but definitely agree with you that sometimes they camouflage themselves in grass. Would definitely like to see TM make the Strip in a Hi Vis yellow like the full golf ball color. Wonder if they would ever make a hi vis yellow with a white stripe

I fell in love with these when they first came out, but couldn’t understand the green color. Great alignment aid but couldn’t see the ball on the ground at any distance. Using the alignment on the tee and for putting was amazing though. I recommend them to everyone that comes into the shop asking about which ball to play. I’m using an AVX now, but like to take these on occasion for fun rounds or when practicing alignment on the tee. Great video, Gents. Now go hit the pink ball, James.

I already use the green stripe. I’m looking forward to more colors coming out. I think the blue is a favorite.

When these balls came out I was super curious about them and searched all over to find them but wasn’t having luck. I was talking to the pro at our driving range and he told me there were issues in manufacturing and he thought they were going to be cancelling them. He had some vendor samples and gave them to me. I’m just getting back into playing again and it looks like they were able to sort out the manufacturing issues. I really liked the feel and look of them for putting/chipping but haven’t tried them on the course b/c I didn’t want to loose them. I ended up buying some tp5 picx to play with and really enjoy them but I don’t care for the alignment aides on them. I also like how these are cheaper. I hope they play well with the irons and driver as they did around the green.

Thought these were a gimmick but they have really improved my putting. Tried lines before but the stripes helped me big time. Feel is lovely. Think they are a shade shorter than the titleist Tourspeed but worth it for the putts.

I was always a Costco advocate, but I’ve found over winter that the covers get battered very quickly. Where as these tour response balls do much better, I also feel like they go further. I know they cost more, but I genuinely think the extra money would be well spent.

I really like the look of these but I am a high handicapper & loose to many to move to these. Have been looking at using some budget balls under £18 for a dozen (see amazon & sports direct, etc) . Any recommendations for top 5?

Just wanted to say that, while I'm always taken by your posts and the engaging repartee between you and Chris, the camera work by your bride is absolutely top notch. Been looking for these everywhere, can only seem to find them in the pro shops at courses like you said. The red stripe is amazing.

I love the TM Tour Response golf ball with or without the stripe.

I found these golf balls in a bin at the PGA Tour Superstore this past summer. I had used the Tour Response previously, so I knew it was a good golf ball. I love the pink stripe, it's the only color I'll use in the future 😁

James! I live in SoCal...Like you, I game the Tour Response Stripe. Just the other day I was on the Taylormade website and noticed the TR Stripe is on sale. Only time balls go on sale is when a NEW ONE is coming! I'm hoping we get new colors 🤞

I love the Tour Response balls, I started with the stripe, great for alinement and putting, however can be a little harder to spot when in the semi rough, watching your video I noticed the same thing with Chris's ball that was short of the green, maybe it was the camera or the light but I'll be sticking to the full white models. But I do like the Blue one

Nice find ! I have also used the regular Response ball as well! But, U have given me an idea. During winter play here N the San Francisco BAY AREA…..Those colors could be very helpful 4 me finding my wayward balls off the tee ! LOL!

Definitely appealing. They are currently about $10 Canadian per ball on eBay. The most I spent is $5/ball like ProV1 and Chromax Gold-coloured. I tried other colours for Chromax and I suggest sticking to the gold colour as it is easier to see and find. They are 4.50/ball on Amazon UK. Chelsea Blue of any golf ball is excellent! I read that the colour fades on the Taylormade balls. Are you finding that too?

like you I love these strangely I went on the us site and seems there only available in the bright yellow over threre so are these other colour balls you manage to get a limited edition

I saw these same colored TM golf balls at Tour 18 Golf Course in Houston just the other day! My buddy and I were wide eyed when we saw them.

Been playing Tour Response ball for a few years. Love it though not a big fan of the ‘22 ball’s yellow stripe. These multi-color versions may change my mind. I’ve found a few for sale on eBay here in the US.

Huge fan of the stripe. Coming to you from the states (Georgia) and this is the first time I've seen it in different colors.

I play the PIX balls but I’ve played the tour response and thought they were brilliant, especially on the greens. But lost so many with the colour blending with the course. Even in the new “secret” colours from the farms in rancho Santa Fe I’ll still to the PIX 🤙🏻

Hey James i live in San Diego but they sell those colors of balls at the PGA superstore. the one thing there is a catch, they sell them as individual balls in a big square clear box. they have all the same colors

I have found a retail source for the red, pink, blue and green stripe Tour Response ball. PGA SuperStore in North Myrtle Beach, SC USA has bin near the cash register. $3.59 US each. That’s the same price as if you are buying them by the dozen. I picked up a blue striped ball and will play it on dominant fairways today along with a green stripe Tour Response and see which one is easier to locate. Probably hit them both in the pine cones and leaf piles🍂or in the woods. But I’ll give my feedback soon.

James can you do a round that uses the TM Stealth Carbon faced woods and the Callaway Chrome Soft with graphene (carbon). Carbon on carbon, any difference or a bit “meh”?

I’ll trade golf balls for all the cool cars we don’t get ;) Been using the Z Star Divides and the split has really helped my putting.

I have a blue/red/and pink one also. If they did this on TP5 with no color in between just the outside black and maybe a bigger arrow stripe it'd be epic.

I have yet to see these in the US. They weren’t on the Taylormade site the last time I checked. The ones I’ve seen on eBay are in Japan.

They do sound lovely off the club face!! And I would call it moroon rather than red.

Love the new colors. Unfortunately, right now they’re selling for $66.99 a dozen versus around $40-42 for the lime green stripe. I think I’ll wait a bit.

I play this ball but the green stripe made me lose several, sometimes in plain sight; so I just play the solid white. That said, I live in California and can’t find these colored versions anywhere. They’re not at my local golf mart and not on their website. I hope they mass release these colors soon!

Last summer the PGA Superstore in North Myrtle Beach 🏖 SC had the TaylorMade golf ball. They gave my puppy a pink one. I liked the blue for the University of North Carolina. My pink one the color seems to come off but it might be from my puppy 1 year and half old chewing on it. 😮😮

Don't know how you snagged these but we can't get these in the US either, only the yellow stripe. Wish we could though!

James, I usually find ball reviews a bunch of b.s. until I found two tour response balls looking for my ball in woods. So, since they were brand new, hit once, I thought I’d give them a try. I play the same ball a whole round. Either PV1 or TP5. They made a fantastic ball. I’m going to game these in 2023, along with the Kirkland ball. Feels the same. Costs less! Spammers, please do not send me anything, I’ll just report you.

I have these and they do disappear in grass, I also have Kirklands but they do scuff up more than taylormade, luv the colors, I'd probably go for red 1s being a gooner

These are great balls. My only complaint would be that the paint seems to fall off pretty easily.

My local PGA Superstore had 4 different colors of these on sale for like 1.50 a ball during Christmas thought they were a gimmick and not as good as the the one with the like green stripe so didn’t pick any up I’m kicking myself for it now

I bought those red ones at the pga store in Jacksonville fl last August. Bought time there’s new colors.

I wanted to love the green stripe so much but I found it distracting when hitting second shots. Putting is fantastic though.

I agree 100% .. love the ball.. but so easy to lose them and I never understood why they were the same colour as the grass?? Unless they want you to buy more as you lose a few.. which I wouldn’t … I’d just buy a different ball. Please can we see this ball in better colours in the UK.

They are also releasing a bright orange stripe one as well

great alignment, should use much brighter colors, and paint gets easly chiped

I got one from the University of Alabama‘s golf team they play the red stripe or like they call it the Crimson stripe

I think most men are colourblind in red/green to a certain extent, which might explain the greater visibility of the blue... I used to have red iron boots years ago but couldn't see them on the fairway😁

Loved them but stopped playing them as very easy to lose on a sunny day on the grass. If they change to better colours I'd use them again.

PGA Tour Superstore here is the US have any color you can imagine sold loose like that.

I am a fan of the color scheme but maybe just a little bit thinner stripe so more of the white shows.

I went to DIcks to purchase 1-dozen TaylorMade Tour Response golf balls and found the price had increased from $35 to $43. I bought a dozen Pro V-1 at $49. At $ 0.50 more per ball why not?

I've seen the exact colours for sale, but because they were on Ebay, I figured they were knock offs. Maybe they weren't?!

Haven’t seen them but I will ask at our pro shop for them.

I had to come away from them when they updated, just too high launch and also the durability was awful, one ball would not last a round before the stripe was peeling and chipping. I actually now use the much cheaper TM Distance plus.
