thank you for including the chipping aspect on your review, i often feel this is largely overlooked on iron set reviews.
The 2020 P770 is definitely the best looking btwn the new 2022 P770 & 2023/24 P790 (too much matte silver for me). I have the 2020 P770 in my bag and like them very much. Similar carry to what you had, but my 5 iron is closer to 180-185 carry. Gaps well for me. Nice video!!

TM has taken a page out of the Mizuno MP-20 line introduced last year where the MP-20 HMB could easily be blended with the MMC as they had exactly the same lofts though out the model lines. If you wanted to blend TM models the P790 with its strong lofts, and extra long distances, made this difficult or impossible as you would get too large a gap where models merged. Now with the P770 lofts being dialed back (from 29.5 to 33 in the 7-iron), you can blend the P770 with the P-7MC much easier. All-in-all, a very nice 3-model line-up by TM.
Great review again. Really like the look of these irons. Torn between these and the 7mc. Have you any thoughts on which one would suit a 5 hcap golfer
Good review. How would they blend with shorter irons in 7MC distance wise ?
Can you test more on the distance control aspect? Perhaps just hitting a bucket of range balls and see if you get any of the silly long ones

Just had a game with them. Level par after 10 holes. Don’t go as far as my t100s but got to get used to them yet. 10 hdp 👍🏼
Love my P790. Don’t think I will change. Great. Review as always Ali. Keep up the great work.. PS Any news on new Ping Driver and irons?

@ AliTaylorGolf what would you compare the blade length and top line of the P770 to , similar to the P760, T200, or your i500’s ?

Around 90mph, they had the KBS x stiff in them

@@AliTaylorGolf thank you. I'm somewhere between 88-93, 57 years old with a hip replacement in 2012. I'm playing Callaway X20 irons, steel with universal flex. Thoughts about which one to switch to???
Why only show carry total and spin from trackman.. ? You need to unhide club speed, ball speed, launch, deviation etc
For the distances you carry you needs these.
I agree that they are very good looking, but the numbers and the drop off on mishits are pretty poor. The 5 did fine, but the 7 and 9 are weak performers. Hopefully the other new models do better.

Your yardage seem to be low for someone using x flex shafts. 9 iron should be at least 140-145 carry.
