the commentating pairing of Sid Wadell and John Gwynne will never be beaten... These 2 created such an atmosphere around a game. Pair it with superlative Taylor peformances and you got a double whammy of seeing great darts and listening to great commentary, from both sides, unmatched and totally unique. Darts isnt the same without them ..

Absolute masterclass. Best I think I've ever seen anyone play.

@Vahik88 Its the average of all darts thrown in a game, divided by three (including those nine darts it took to get your 32 out). a 30 dart game is a 50 average (give or take), a 24 dart game is a 62 average (again, give or take), an 18 dart game is about an 84 average. 111 is amazing. he's averaging about 14 darts per game.

yeh sorry i wrote it wrongly - i agreed with u and wanted to specifically say which title he shud get

it's the sum of your score per dart for every dart you throw. If you throw a 15 dart leg, you will get a 100.5 average, whereas if you don't get to a finish and are left on 101 after 12 darts, you will have an average of 100 over those darts. Your average is comprised of the average of these darts over every leg.

does anyone know how the averages are calculated - is it the sum of all darts including the darts which don't need to be maximum e.g. doubles, singles - and this divided by 3 - or is it the average of the darts where the players need the maximum, e.g. 220 and more?
