when he said "I'll tell you what, last question and then we move on, okay?" it literally chilled my blood. It's like the line a rapist uses to get forced consent. "I'll just stop bothering you if you give me this one little thing that you've already said no to THREE TIMES but I've made you so deeply uncomfortable that I just know you'll jump at the chance to make it stop." Thank god Taylor had the maturity and presence of mind to realize she could get out of there without needing his permission. Most young teenage girls would have fallen into the trap.

See, this is how Taylor handled the Kanye questions, yet the media started that "she likes to play the victim" over the Kanye drama, but I have never heard her say anything, that demonstrates that. She is so far from "playing victim", yet the phrase stuck, because her haters just kept repeating it so many times that people took it as truth, and began parroting the same statement. Like fox channel basically, it works, unfortunately. Interviewers become lazy, and don't research everything, instead they repeat what has already been said by past interviewers, assuming it must be true b/c several others have said it, so they too, end up spreading the "untruth" , and so it goes... on, and on.

During the pandemic I learned a lot about politics (I do not take either side, more shades of purple) by a neighbor who is now retired from working in politics his entire life, and he never pushed me in one direction just taught facts and explained how things worked but I found different tv channels local and non local pushed different directions. When the riots were going on here in Minneapolis local channels were focused on different levels of the fires burning that included apartments, stores, police station and to protesters being arrested that were peaceful. And I also saw the coverage of the president speaking on the pandemic was covered differently. My own mother does not believe a certain someone said something about injecting disinfectant. Because the news Channel she watches never showed that. Yet the channel I watch went and had a sound bite that went the other direction and I still call that out as dishonest. 2 different directions. I happened to watch the entire thing live every day so I could see discrepancies on both sides. No matter personal opinions I think it should be honest and I think there should be more transparency. This is not to fuel anyone's opinions as the person in charge is different now and for my own mental health I would like to not hear anything political, the same way Taylor did not want to discuss Kanye.

She addressed the basic issues at the beginning. He should have said, "I felt you were a true professional and I'm glad you're okay. Now, tell me about your newest project. Hit Number 1 yesterday. That has to feel good." What a jerk!

That’s a great way to not get a second interview. Especially from a star that can bring in listeners.

The fact that he thought he should have been allowed to ask her his last question ‘do you think kanye had a mental problem’ is so disgusting. As if forcing someone to speculate on someone else’s mental health is at all an appropriate thing to do in an interview. I sincerely hope he was fired for this.
