Lemme give you another sample of his lyrics. "Now was Kanye the most overlooked? Yes sir Now is Kanye the most overbooked? Yes sir" or "If my manager insults me again I'll be assaulting him." Kanye suffered a nearly fatal car accident and fracture his Jaw. In my opinion, I enjoy Kanye’s music more, not only because he is one of the greatest artists of all time, but also because I think that Taylor Swift’s music sounds very generic and boring. All of her songs sound almost the exact same. I’m not saying that she’s a bad artist but she isn’t quite on Kanye level. If anyone disagrees with me, I’m willing to hear you out.

Why kanye deserves to win in; Lyrics: this is too obvious, his song writing is insanely good. Taylor's lyrics aren't as experimental and unique as Kanye Albums: the college trilogy might be the most influential album series in hip hop history. No one has influenced hip hop music of the last decade like kanye did with his albums. Versatility: he may have sampled every single type of song. He has so many different voices and he can literally fit into any type of song. No disrespect to Taylor swift, but most of her songs sound VERY SIMILAR. Kanye switches it up with every single album.

if your looking for something better of hers, try the speak now album (completely self written at the age of 19,) folklore, evermore, and would’ve could’ve should’ve from midnights. me personally, i relate to her lyrics a lot and i think these three albums shows her songwriting skills. especially to be able to write a whole album completely by yourself at the age of nineteen. it was actually not long after the kanye-taylor incident at the award show and everyone kept saying she didn’t write her own lyrics so she wrote speak now to prove to not only herself but to the world that she was capable of it. i understand her music isn’t for everybody, but she has talent. she has an incredible voice too.
