She has so much integrity and so much success and she’s beautiful but people do nothing but talk shit about her. It’s so weird. I actually think they’re just LOOKING for something bad to say about her and the best they can come up with it “she has too many exes to write about. Why can’t she hold a guy?” But she learns about herself from dating and she hasn’t actually even dated that many guys. She just writes a lot of songs about her feelings and her experience.

I’m almost 40 years old and I’ve been listening to Taylor since she came out. “1989” is my favorite album and this is my favorite song. Sometimes I feel weird being this old now and still clinging to a Taylor Swift song, but whenever this weird feelings comes along, I roll the windows down a little bit more, make the car go a little bit faster, and close my eyes for a second longer. No matter how old you get get or how old you feel, this is exactly how love is supposed to make you feel.

I know what you mean. I'm 46 and love her music. I have three daughters who love her too. 1989 was the only album I had heard of hers and is my favourite. When she released her version of Red my daughter made me listen to it all. While the songs Red and Style (from 1989) are my favourite songs, I wasn't prepared for the masterpiece that is the 10 minute version of All Too Well. She is truly talented.
