Taylor does put in a lot of time and effort in to her records, but it also pays for her, for collectors its very rewarding to see that effort being returned back into music and for music & vinyl fans. I have all 4 LPs and its a great idea.

I loved this video! I got the target edition but I LOVE the signatures you got!! Excited to see the set up :)

Mostly the deluxe versions of albums don't have a CD.

She's my favorite artist! Not a big powerful vocal but oh so calming, pretty sounding and a brilliant writer!

I dont if you would see but Taylor signed the insert because she was trying to keep the album cover secret and sign as many as she can before the album. So insert photo was the best option for that. 💜💙

My jade green came with maybe half a line of smoke in the vinyl pressing. The remaining is just jade green LOL 😢

Hey! Random question but could I possibly email you some pictures of the sealed Midnights signed vinyl I got off eBay? I think it’s a reproduction with some very convincing hype stickers because the album cover (front and back) just seems off - like it’s not as sharp as what it appears to be in your video.

sorry this is a dumb question ( im thinking of buying for someone as a gift ) are all the vinyl's signed? im debating between jade green and lavender (thought the others would pop more like the website but not quite as much) thank you again for this thorough unboxing!

No worries! Unfortunately, the signed records were on her store for a limited time only and are sold out and the only ones that came signed were all but the lavender which is only at target. At this point, I would simply seek out the color you like the most or if you have your heart set on signed records you can try to check on third-party Websites like eBay, but it might run you a pretty penny !

This was helpful except that you did not show the inside pictures of blood moon or mahogany, which is what I was waiting to see. I was struggling between those and have had a hard time finding images. The vinyls you show do not look like the stock sales images at all so that is helpful though.

What's the difference between different records? onlt the colour?

Yes that is correct. Only they color and the packaging. When all 4 are put together it makes a CLOCK!

I bought the mahogany edition which is in with the framer right now. I like the art in that edition. The signature has TPA. It will grace the wall of my music room/library. I am unsure if I will buy any others. I am annoyed there is so much explicit language in so many of the tracks. I cope a barrage of profanity at work every day. I do not need the same in my music. Certainly not letting my girls hear the whole album. Filtered Apple Music for listening enjoyment only. I do not understand why she took that direction... completely soured my feelings on the album.

Are the photos really hand signed or hand signed and printed in several copies ?

Sorry that it bothered you. It is very hard to focus on filming, talking, and handling them-- they are still in Mint condition which is what ultimately matters.

I think she has become greedy, when she released 5 different vinyls and cds + cassette. And most likely got you to pay for it signed (like $15 for cd, $15 for it signed), and shipping.... + 3 a.m. Edition (Download only)...

I understand your perspectives...I think it does get pricy but at the same time she isn't forcing anyone to buy it and someone could jus see which version is their favorite and go with that one.

@@EskimoTV The trouble is, she's pressing so many of her records that the vinyl pressing factories are forced to make a ton of her album alone, so small to medium popularity artists have to wait ages to get their albums printed. It's a bit selfish, like when Adele over pressed her new album and it never sells out

@@user295. the difference is that taylor is selling out, which means she has demand. this isn't a new practice and never selfish since a lot of artists also do this. for other artists finding other manufacturers, it's not new as well since it's how economy works. competition

@@grants1527q6 First off, I just want to say I don't put all the blame on Taylor. It's also a problem with the way the pressing plants work. What I see as selfish is the fact that whenever a music juggernaut like Taylor releases an album, all the factories make their album a priority (lots of money) so the indie artists have to wait ages for their albums to get released. If she's selling out and is so successful, why not make her own plant and let the indie artists actually make money, considering Spotify pays peanuts. For a lot of artists, physical sales are basically their month to month paycheck to live off of, hence why I see it as selfish. I'd much rather my favourite artists don't have to rely on fan donations to fund their next albums (yes, this happens) just because Swifties want to make a fucking clock with 4 different colours of the same album. I get that's how economy works, but if we're using what is legal as a moral compass, then two words: Jim Crow.
