do it with getaway car. low key siked for your reaction to the interlude, btw that's a very important part as it talks about her last relationship, and everything with Kim and Kanye and all her fake friends that she isn't friends with anymore, such as Karlie Kloss, which if u watch the 1989 world tour, she was in one of the interludes in the doc, btw the interludes for the 1989 world arent the actual interludes for the show, there just recap on the special guests, the only part that is real is the one before Karlie's vid in the doc. I know it a lot to read, but I figured id let u know what to make sure to keep in.

I absolutely agree that, despite of what people may say, we fall in love with Taylor not only for her incredible music and songwriting but because she's relatable and human and humble. I do believe that it takes a little bit more than just music to create such a loyal fanbase.

Long Live was actually a song asked by the fans to be sung during this era - well not asked per se but a lot of fans off tumblr and twitter were talking about how amazing it would be if Taylor sang this song for everyone who stuck through those two years of "cancel culture" and how it would hit very differently. Taylor heard and put it on her set list

That's one of the signature things about Taylor that set her apart she actually pays attention to what her fans are saying reacts accordingly

i knew you were going to miss the end hahaha. bc of her long pause. just remember taylor never finishes a song on the piano without her lil charm on the keys at the end.

on the first night of the tour, her speech before those songs included "thank you for seeing me as a human being."

You really hit the nail on the head about Long Live in this context--so much of the fandom were on the front lines during 2016 and 2017 when she vanished, explaining and defending and arguing in her favor against some the nastiest and relentless online hate. And if you couldn't be on the front lines you were still on Tumblr making content, or ranting at how *stupid* the general public was behaving, or posting support on the .5% chance Taylor might see it one day and feel just a touch better. It was an every day endeavor during a year of total (and much needed) silence when we didn't know what was coming next, if anything at all. So on opening night of this tour when she made a long, beautiful speech thanking us and then surprised everyone with a piano version of Long freaking Live? Yeah, catch us all bawling our eyes out.

@@carloarroyo7651 - I was only watching someone's livestream that night and I was STILL a mess. (I'll never look down on livestreams again, you may not get the greatest view but it's still a lovely and immersive option for those who can't actually be there.)

omg you missed so much of the performance she literally just stopped to tell her fans she loves them she continues singing after that!

i love this mashup but her best is from 1989 tour, enchanted with wildest dreams, you should check!

At her London show, it was near the beginning of the tour I think, someone from the tumblr fandom printed out hundreds of signs that said “proud”. During that pause where you stopped, they held up those signs and the crowd cheered for 3-5 mins straight and she teared up and it was sooooo beautiful. Especially everything she and the fans had been through, it was wild. Thought you’d like that story!

Ugh. I was lucky to enough to see this live twice and countless times on Netflix since it came out and I still cry every. single. time. 😭

I just noticed the Lover Record in the back

I went to three different shows of the rep tour and it felt like a small setting from the top of the nosebleeds. It was the way she put on the show and the emotional connection she put out with this tour. Every album was represented and this tour was just for us ride or die fans. The general public wasn't the aim of this tour... and I think that is why it felt so intimate.

Her concerts are really intimate because despite being in huge stadiums, you still get to stand right next to the performers. All 60,000 of them.

5:40 harry always says thank you to everybody just like taylor does. they are the kindest people on the industry i honestly have no doubt

I saw taylor on the rep tour in tampa, florida. this song was definitely a special moment every night of the tour, but what really made it incredible in tampa was that the show was the one year anniversary of her winning the sexual assault case. everyone in the crowd was in tears when she said her speech and we all held up one dollar bills when she sang long live. she choked up while talking about the case and it was just so amazing that we were all there supporting her and we truly felt how much she loves us. it was so beautiful.

Its so funny you mention the drama in this video, bc the next thing you see is a poem called why she disappeared, she wrote while she went through the drama and its SO good. I hope you either post the full thing along with the song that follows Getaway Car or either do it on patreon.

When she talking About fans or singing for them we can see her love &honest that's the reason she has the craziest fans in all over country...if she on the stage or interview she never forget to say thanks for the fans that makes her Special one

There was a time when being a Taylor fan was something to be ashamed of. The reputation tour was really special for us as well. We missed her a lot, when she came back with fierce and pride, we cam back as well.

ive always viewed new year's day (especially after the joe breakup) a song for the band, bc they're gonna be there helping her and the rest of the team clean up after the shows and the after partys. ik its abt joe, but it just make it more special to me that way

For some reason long live always makes me feel so emotional

I worked at BOK Center heard Taylor sing there. She surprised me the way she takes so much time to talk to her fans. I heard alot of BIG names there she was the only one Barry Manilow talked to his fans but not as much and the other ones just sang. Its like going to Church to go hear Miss Swift. I was blessed to be working there at the time in the Janitorial Department. Wish I had known how lucky I was then but I do now. Elvis was in the Building and dammit I didnt know it back then.
