She went and hid for a year because of all the negativity towards her. Thats when she wrote reputation. It all stemmed from the Kanye and Kim attacks towards her. She's an amazing song writer in regards to life. There are a few videos of her talking to her parents saying the "noise" is too loud and she is in tears. This was her EPIC comeback album.

Oh- and if you watch the concert, it would help to have some context (in case you weren’t already aware of the history prior to this tour). All the snakes you see are because in the midst of the whole edited phone call between Swift and Kanye West drama, Kim Kardashian called Taylor a snake and encouraged people to bombard Taylor’s Instagram account with snake emojis. This was a catalyst for an absolutely brutal media backlash against Taylor as well as an opportunity for those who had been dumping on her for years to start the #TaylorSwiftIsOver cancellation “party”- which was so big it trended number one on Twitter. All this culminated with Taylor’s Instagram going dark and her disappearing for about a year- she said that, in addition to the damage to her career, it broke her emotionally and psychologically for a while. About a year later, however, Taylor’s Instagram came back on and she started sending out images of snakes with her face on them. Shortly after, she dropped the song Look What You Made Me Do and the accompanying video. In essence, it announced Taylor was back, highly pissed off and ready to reclaim her name and career in a no-holds-barred manner. She took every insult, every name, etc. people were calling her, embraced them, turned them into art and through them back in an epic, bad-ass, HBIC style. The Reputation album was then released, followed by the tour. With all this in mind, I’d highly recommend the Look What You Made Me Do video. There’s SO much to unpack in it, but the main thing to know is that it was a response to Kanye, Kim, the more viscous members of the media and the people who had made a hobby of dumping on her. A huge f*#% you in the form of a music video. It also showcases Taylor’s sense of humor and ability to poke fun at herself and her persona(s).

Taylor takes the fact that she is looked up to by millions of young girls, very seriously. Her language reflects that, which is why she isn't vulgar. When you are talented & can write lyrics like she does, you don't have to fill the lyrics in with repetitive trash talk. She actually has something to say.

She puts on the best show that anybody does!

Sorry but all lives are not like this but they’re even better.. you’ll be a swiftie once you do the full reputation tour song after song.. she’s an amazing vocalist, performer, she owns the stage and she dances really well.

You mentioned she writes a lot of songs about love, id just make a subtle correction to that and say she makes a lot of songs about relationships and the human condition. Many of her songs get interpreted as being about a romantic relationship when they are actually about friendship, family, a business partnership, or even her relationship with the media.

She has been actively pursuing her dream since she was maybe 11. Over 2 decades. Got signed as a songwriter at 14. I think her grandmother (mom's mom) passed away when she was 13 & probably away w/ her mom (TN). Also her parent's marriage split (rumored- but being on the road & a lawsuit by former manager didn't help- parents didn't see eye to eye). Separation wasn't public to possibly not hurt her career? (Conservative view in her genre at the time). Also some country critics & fans didn't consider her country- that genre is considered a sausage fest- male dominated. (One blog called her label head- Country music anti-christ). They also painted over her image with country legends after she left. Some media called her an ambassador (brought in younger female audience) after she won Entertainer of the year. Her crossover to pop was a risk. Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, Faith Hill had tried - but had struggles. Meanwhile, over the years she has to deal with multiple stalkers & lawsuits (not including wild or frivolous ones). Just this year a couple of stalkers were mentioned in the news. One was inside her NY building. I read that security has a book of who to watch and there are multiple layers of security between her & the public. Also there are snipers some other festivals/concerts- maybe because of '17 tragedies. Great reaction, so glad you are enjoying them. Her Reputation album is one of my favorites. Correction for you, you keep saying reparation, I think you said reputation a couple of times. All is forgiven since you are so new to Taylor Swift. One thing to know about Taylor, her Reputation album was born from all the crap she got from when Kanye West and his then-wife, Kim. Kanye called Taylor up asking her what she thought about some lyrics that he wanted to put into his song "Famous", one of them was something like Taylor still might owe me sex and so forth, (Kanye recorded/filmed himself during that time). When the song came out and the lyrics were "I made that B!tch Famous", Taylor spoke up and said she did not know he was going to say that. Shortly afterward, Kanye and Kim released an edited version of that tape in which they just put in where she was maybe okay with some of the other lyrics suggestions. They posted it on social media, calling her a liar and a snake, and a lot of people joined the hate train. It was too much, Taylor dropped out of sight for a year, and then she remerged and embraced the snake (if you see a huge (not real) snake on stage for future reactions, the snake's name is Karyn) although it should have been Kim. When Taylor gets lemons, she makes lemonade. About 3 years ago someone leaked the uncut version of that tape, showing who the real liars were, Kanye filmed himself smiling like the snake he was. If you watch the "Look What You Made Me Do" MV at the very end one of the Taylors says " What's wrong with that b!tch? Zombie Taylor says "Don't call me that".

Wow I truly appreciate you on all this insight I’m learning more and more of her and I’m truly loving it 😊😊

She keeps journals of words she likes, journals of songs or verses and sayings she likes so she is able to craft a song without to many cuss words because of her extensive vocabulary.

Thanks to Kanye (2x) and Kim K there was a trend on twitterto cancel her and all sorts of negative stuff happened that really impacted her mental health.kim and Kanye have yet to apologize
