The meaning of this song is so Great! So Taylor's the player, fooling around with others "telling all the rich folks anything they wanna hear, like it could be love". Then she meets somebody who's a player as well "you're a cowboy like me". But she falls in love with him, she catches feelings and at the end she gets played and hurt "and I'm never gonna to love again".

there's another interpretation, cause she says now their boots stay beneath her bed, she locked the past stuff down and stuff like that. maybe she'll never love again cause there's not gonna be anyone after them. that's how I interpretate.
