I hate how these never show the struggle. She and her mom and to BEG radio stations to play her music. Her very first song didn’t magically get played and place on billboard because she was signed. She and her mom did that with hard work.

Yeah but she is loved by a lot more people. She has a lot of blessings too, ones that she has had to work hard for. She's young, wealthy, talented and beautiful. She is at the pinnacle of the music industry which is is not a bad position to be in. I would call it a glass half full situation but her glass is way more than halfway full.

The only thing I can say after watching this video is "I am a Swiftie and I will be one forever!!!"

Their predictions were correct about Taylor becoming the next pop star at that time. Her two pop albums 1989 and Reputation went to number one within the first week of sales. She sold over one million with those albums within the first week.

I’m glad Taylor never chose the safe route. Her entire life she pushed the boundaries despite what dumb ass haters thought and it’s always paid off

She made Scott known,if it wasnt for her, he wouldn’t have the same success

I love music and have played in bands for a long time. I have taught guitar and music so I have always dreamed of finding a girl who had this in common. Drunken women are so boring to me and girls who party all the time are so boring to me also. Taylor is smart, full of creativity and is genuine. She is also respectful to herself and loves herself. So many women today are filled with aggression, bitterness, envy and jealousy. Her music is very sophisticated, beautiful and full of life. My favorite movie is Amelie and the character played by Audrey Tautou is also the similar type of woman a person who loves people with authenticity. Those guys who blew her out don't even know who they have passed up the chance to be with. They must be the type who want easy girls or slutty girls with no class and character. I have never been attracted to those types because its cheap and easy to live a life like that but it takes a lot to always serve yourself well for an entire lifetime. I have seen videos of Taylor without any make up on as she is recording and writing her songs and her natural beauty makes my heart go fast. Too fast..lol.

It had nothing to do with John Mayer. You're right , it was the bullying of ,some say, a compilation of critics. The popular belief is that "Mean" is about industry Guru and critic Bob Lefsetz who was a particularly harsh critic about Taylor not being "Country", about having a weak voice, an off-key voice. Quoted as saying Swift was too dumb and young to understand she was consigned to the dustbin of teen phenoms. (What a pretentious prick. Has my vote)
