Well to be honest most of the balls were only that good because the setter did set very well, like no block etc. Without a block everyone with his hight and jumping power can spike as well. But there are some nice actions in this video

Jan Meier Do you read what you type? You just contradicted yourself, anyone with his height and jumping power? Well first off he isn't the tallest outside you'll hear of, he's only 6'4 while Matt Anderson is 6'10. He does have an amazing vertical which is what makes him such an amazing hitter, not "everyone" with those attributes can "spike" as well because not everyone has those attributes. Jesus.

Yeah he definitly is a good player. All I wanted to say is that the setter has a good share in those spikes. He set the ball very well so it was easier to spike. My first comment might have been a bit radical. Of course not anyone could spike like that. What i meant was that professional players, who are quite tall, can spike balls similar to those in the video. I didnt feel they were that exceptional, but the title "young talent" definitly matchs.I just think there are a lot of players who deserved a video as much if not more. But then again who am I :). I am sorry and I hope you forgive me even if i dont believe in Jesus.

if you're a national-level player, i should surely hope that your setter is extremely good. plus, you can't get to the level he's at without being an incredible player. even if you don't think he's that good for the sole reason that his setter gets him 1-on-1's, apparently people who know a lot more about volleyball disagree because he's our national team's starting outside
