    Chicken Noodle Soup is actually a rap song from the 90s and J Hope paid 2.7 million dollars in royalties to the og artist because he wanted to cover it. Its a song very dear to him.

    Yes, he paid 2.7 million and then gave it away for free to ARMY. Just like 5 of the solo albums by the rapline, and many other songs, OSTs and covers. BTS loves us and loves to give us prezzies. (info for Emily and Kaneda.)

    I'm a huge fan of BTS since 2014... to put it simply I enjoy listening to Kpop and I support other idols too, but when it comes to BTS its just different I see them as my family. So I might be supporting other artists now too but when the boys comes back as BTS again in 2025. home will call all ARMYs back to reunite and set another goals and settle unfinished businesses.

    They don't have individual Soundcloud accounts that we know of -- there's a main BTS Soundcloud where they had previously posted their pre-debut singles, the rappers' mixtapes, festa (anniversary) songs, and solo songs as gifts for fans. Now that they have each debuted as solo artists, their most of their individual songs and mixtapes have been released officially on streaming platforms. Also, "Chicken Noodle Soup" was previously released by Webstar and Young B in 2006. J-Hope recorded a remix version with Becky G in 2019 - he said that it was one of the first songs that led him to dance.

  • @eileencritchley4630
    @eileencritchley46306 ай бұрын

    It's well over 800 awards now, with 5 Grammy nominations and over 28 Guinness World Records. J Hope bought the rights for the Song from the original young girl who wrote and sung it. It's a song previously well known in the USA but I'm not an American so had never heard of it before J hope bought it from her and remixed it and invited Becki G to join him as they both loved the song. The members all being Song Writers, Composers and Producers each to a greater or lesser degree means they have far more control of their music and earn more from it. RM is also the Sound Engineer on his own solo album Indigo so even more of the money goes to him as he owns the master tapes. Four of the members now have their Masters Degree's.

When each of the member's released their solo debut, their Soundcloud songs were also released. There are still a few that are only on Soundcloud (like the rapline song Ddaeng 😭 ... The Wembley thing always makes me emotional too.. it wasn't on the setlist for that night and so the group initially had a panic and thought the crew had made a mistake... (not a good thing for a group of perfectionists hahaha).. the crowd sang it in Korean too... it was kind of pre-planned as in Army knew when to sing... it was the perfect way to let the boys know how much they were loved and valued.... as some have already suggested...either the Rice Squad vid or xCeleste (Rosan) hardships would be good next... it kind of gives you a better background on just why Army is so protective of the members... Taylor’s video is a great introduction to the members but Rice Squad BTS 2023 (although it only goes up to April 2022) is a great video for their history as a group. Xceleste’s hardship video (updated) explains some of the hate that they have gotten over their year but it barely covers it, they received so much more hate (she didn’t want the video to be too negative so she only covered the basics).

    I thought I was a die hard fan and I am familiar with so much of their music but I recently watched BORACITY Introduction to BTS discography. By the end it was shock and awe. I knew they released songs in 3 languages but I assumed they were just Japanese versions of songs I knew. When it was all laid out, including all the collabs they have done I do not think there has ever been such prolific artists. This seems too much for a life times work from a band. Probably because all 7 are individual artists and also write their own songs. It did not even include any stage 2 solo work.💜

    Since BTS cover so many sounds, might I suggest a starter pack? - Fake Love - Airplane Pt 2 - Mic Drop - The Truth Untold -- vocal line only (no mv, will have to rely on fan-made lyric videos which are about 90% accurate in translation) - ON Kinetic Manifesto - Fire - UGH - rap line only (no mv, will have to rely on fan-made lyric video -- also with not terribly accurate translation, but you get the idea) - Louder Than Bombs (fan-made music video is pretty decent) - Dope (when Jungkook was a fetus) - Tomorrow (no music video, but lyric videos are good) - Idol (an intentionally manic video to basically give the finger to all the people who said they were: too western, too Korean, too girly, too rap focused, too this and too that -- every prop, every outfit, every lyric is a direct clapback, to include the sweaters Suga and j-hope wear to V's glasses [that someone said he looked ugly in] -- it's a master class in F Yous). That's about 1/400 of their discography, lol

    Hi, good reaction, ty. In the SOOP is vacation in Korea. Somewhere private. Bon Voyage is a trip to another country. Boy with Luv ft. Halsey was my intro song performance on an award show live in 2019. My ult bias is Jimin, Suga wrecker, OT7. Taylor summed things up very well. She used info from current guides by others and changed a few things. They have i think 800 awards now and growing. RM is the only one fluent in Eng. Though he is rusty these days not enough interaction. JK been studying more. Jimin been studying too and Jhope. All the younger bands and solo artists use BTS as inspiration to find fans. Especially small label groups. Seventeen has mental health songs too which i find very cool. The awards are in a BTS Museum HYBE Insight in Korea. U should pause more and speak. I liked hearing ur thoughts. =0] Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army #ThankYouTaylor Ellie Jeann said on 4/5/23 As of this year, they have won over 900+ awards which includes solely and as a group on top side projects that have done past 10 years that continue break records and make history. 3:46 They became the first Kpop male group to perform and speak twice at the UN Assembly. 5:44 BTS started as undiscovered talent in their hometowns but many tend to get confused when seeing this specific scene which is from their episode 8 finale of mini-series #BTSAmericanHustleLife that was filmed in los Angeles (2014). It was part a mission of learning how to ‘self-promote’ by standing on the sidewalk trying to randomly invite people to their mini concert as well as learned from a few western artists under supervision of coolio and warren g throughout the episodes before they performed at the end of the show where they did “no more dream” and “we are bulletproof pt2” along with an ending encore to show what they’ve learned during the final episode. (THOSE WERENT ALL RANDOM PEOPLE 😂 IT WAS A STAGED SCENE BUT MANY OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS KNEW BTS WAS AND THEY WERE THERE WAITING FOR THE MINI SHOWCASE TO START). @femmy-syahrani 7 hours ago (edited) Since this video in May 2022, a LOT has happened. First, in June they released an anthology album "Proof" and then announced that they would pause making music as a group and focus on solo work. This is partly because they have to do their mandatory military service for 18-21 months. J-hope was the first to officially debut as a solo artist, releasing the album "Jack in the Box" in July and headlined in Lollapalooza later that month. The album tells a compelling story from beginning to end, with singles "More and "Arson". They held a free concert in Busan in October, live streamed also for free all over the world. Jin released a single "The Astronaut" in October, co-written by Coldplay and performed the song at a Coldplay stadium concert in Argentina. The two bands are very close friends. He joined the military shortly after. RM released his album "Indigo" in December. A masterful journey through the genres, with singles "Wildflower" and "Still Life" ft. Anderson Paak. Jimin released "Face" in March, telling about his emotional journey during the pandemic., with singles "Set Me Free Pt. 2" and "Like Crazy". J-hope released the single "On the Street" ft. J. Cole, and joined the military shortly after. Then Suga/Agust D released "D-Day" in April, an exploration on the theme of liberation, and then embarked on his world tour. We are anticipating albums from V and JK later this year, and likely from Jin after his service. Please note that before these official debuts, all members have released solo work, with all rappers releasing mixtapes and all singers releasing singles. But these past works were not officially released, meaning they were not available on Korean music platforms and not all were available on Spotify or iTunes. Most were gifts for fans, released on Soundcloud and with little to no promotion. They plan to reconvene as a group in 2025 after they all completed their military service. jungkooks dreamers. @itsbonniefay2417 said on 11/13/23 BTS started from the bottom and they've come all this way, ARMY walking up this mountain together with them... it's so inspiring to see that genuine hardwork and a love and passion for your craft can succeed and have such a spectacular impact on the world. I think of their story and how these 7 kids from all different places in South Korean came together and just worked and worked with no rewards, releasing their first album after years of training and selling 34 copies on it's first day. 2 days less of 8 years later they would release their anthology album Proof and sell 2.15 million copies on the first day... I feel so much pride to see how far they've come. I can't wait to see their synergy and bond in 2025, I'm sure it'll be stronger than ever. @imajinallthepurple said on 11/13/23 6:20 Hundreds of groups debut in K-pop every year but extremely few make it more than 100 days and those are usually from the Big 3 K-pop companies. Boracity Magazine has made a great video on the music industry's (eastern and western's) attempts to find "the next BTS" which covers a lot of the points you bring up. She also has some a amazing videos on BTS vs different entities in the music industry, like BTS vs Radio and BTS vs Spotify etc. They give you a great insight into the dynamics of the industry as a whole. Taylor really did an amazing job on this intro. She even posted a draft, took on input from us and changed a lot accordingly however she mainly focused on the positive story of BTS but there's a darker side to their success as well. Rosan @xCeleste's video BTS Hardships 2013-2021 shows a very important part of their story and it goes a long way to explaining their uniquely close relationship with ARMY. I highly recommend it. ARMY is actually an acronym for Adorable Representatives MC for Youth - doesn't sound quite as daunting now, does it? 😂 We really are all ages from 1 to 99, genders, faiths, nationalities, etc. We always try to portray the positive values of the group members themselves - love, respect and inclusivity - and although inevitably there are a few rotten apples in a fandom this big (approximately 15 million official fan club members and many millions more unofficial fans), if you receive any hateful comments they're most likely from antis/haters who try to discredit the fandom and BTS to deter reactions to their content. I'm just letting you know because unfortunately it's a common problem for BTS reactors and for us as well. A few helpful tips: - You might want to turn the volume up on the video you're reacting to. 😉 - If you want subtitles on their older songs you need to get them from the KZread channel 1theK. It's just as safe and legit to react to. It wasn't until later they started their current channels and they didn't bother putting subtitles on the oldest stuff. - Since Taylor's video Vlive has been incorporated into Weverse, a platform developed by Big Hit but used by many artists and companies now. Fan club membership is not a requirement and that's where they go live now, post comments and respond directly to ARMY's posts if you're extremely lucky. 😅 Have fun discovering the magic of BTS, feel free to ask us anything and enjoy the journey however short or long it may be. 😄 - a danish ARMY, age 48 💜 @kattalania8953 said on 6/30/23 At the end Britney saying that she will add some BTS songs to her Spotify playlist even though she doesn’t understand Korean, that’s exactly how BTS became popular, most of the ARMY’s didn’t understand their language, but they felt BTS’ sincerity and genuineness through their music, they talked about subjects like mental health, depression, harsh educational system and etc. Their hard work is reflected in the songs. All these things together broke the language barrier 💜

    To answer your question of who is being mean still the Grammy's ( or Scammy's as ARMY call them ) are a big one in recent years for BTS. xCeleste's video on "BTS's Hardships" covers this & can give a good understanding of why veteran ARMY or really any ARMY can be very protective of the boys, although RM has a way of reminding ARMY to not take popluarity shade seriously. But he is very proactive about protecting ARMY when interviews have called us crazy or insane. Here are a few song recommendations from me, RM's "Wildflower", Group's "Fake Love" the MV is BU (BTS Unvierse) heavy so keep that in mind, AGUST D "Snooze" (there is no MV but you can find a ARMY made lyrics video) the AGUST D trilogy "Daechwita", "Haegeum", & "AMYGDALA" (These 3 cover much of SUGA's internal struggle with his shoulder injury, social anxitey & his passion/greed in the beginning plus what he has realized as he has grown) & SUGA "Shadow" I'm kind of in an exhaustion rut so my recommendations might be influence by that lol

    It's my understanding from a video I just watched RM & V have graduated from military boot camp. are on their way their military base assignments. Of course, V signed up previously for the elite special forces capital defense unit he'll be in fall South Korea the capital and patrolling the border between North Korea and South Korea. The facts are that technically although hostilities ceased and there was a ceasefire in 1953 the Korean War which started when North Korea invaded South Korea in 1950 never ended, they are technically still at war. That is why every able-bodied South Korean man between the ages of 18 and 30 international age have to serve mandatory military service now the BTS members that enlisted in the military had to serve 18 months and no doubt are on inactive reserve for activation to active duty if hostilities break out. On the other hand, Suga AKA Agust D with the history of OCD depression social anxiety and a shoulder injury which happened when he was working as a bicycle Courier during is training years for big hit entertainment back in roughly 2000 11. He never reported it to the company because of fears that he would be cut from BTS he finally had surgery to repair the injury in 2020 during the pandemic. Anyway, sugar is serving alternate federal service NA government office as and social services clerk and he has to serve 21 months whereas the enlisted members only have to serve 18. John cook and German entered military service on a buddy system they went through basic training boot camp together supposed to graduate tomorrow! And they will be serving on the same military installation together. Jen currently holds the rank of Sergeant is an assistant military training instructor. J hope is also an assistant instructor working alongside Jin from what I understand probably holding the rank of corporal. Jin is due to be discharged from the military in June 2024 this year Jay Holt due to be discharged in October 2024 this year. The remaining 5 including sugar should all be released from duty in June 2025. They have already signed a new contract with the company which will start off in June 2025 with recording a new album and a world tour 10-year celebration of there the most beautiful moment in life youth trilogy of albums. Which if you do the math was released in 2015.

    Please check out RM's album Indigo. There's an explanation video + a Tiny Desk concert. If I have to chose 1 song I would recommand Wildflower. The music video is beautifull and the lyrics deep and sad. His concert at Rolling Hall with various artists is also online.

    Strongly suggest fanmade series called rise of bangtan. It’s legit Netflix worthy in quality and how professional it was done. Even if u don’t react to it. Good to watch on ur own time. Check out first chapter and you’ll see what a great docuseries it is. Tells you their journey throughout their career. And bonus and deleted scenes are hysterical. Good luck with your army journey from a fellow armystay 💜🩵
