Hello folks and welcome to the next episode of my motovlog! This time round we're doing something different, we're taking the Ride Safe Course which is Conducted by the Comfort Delgro Driving Centre! Special thanks to instructor Mus and Reduan for taking care of us on the roads and sharing a lot of good tips when navigating Singapore's expressways. We also had some really close encounters during the group ride so do check it out within the video!

cb miserable taxi, wife nv love him. Him cutting like this only saved him like 1 sec but puts all bikers at risk especially bikers from driving school cb rly

Haha ya! The instructor let me film the course. Initially I wasn’t filming then he noticed my camera and asked me if I wanted to film LOL!
Thanks for sharing didn't know the expressway orientation course for bikes got pass by my block. Nice. Used to learn my class 2B at CDC also . That time dun have this lesson this is fun. But last time when I learn they use the Yamaha SR125. Per lesson was like about 27 dollars. It was fun.

Haha yeah, the cost has increased tremendously though. I think its 70 for this session? But I enjoyed it a lot so it’s quite worth it to me!

Haha damn suay, but lucky only happen twice. The taxi one I notice cuss a lot of ppl on the road like to cut you off when trying to change lanes also. Its very ungracious behaviour which I wish we had less of in SG
Let that be a lesson, be humble and considerate when on the roads. As a driver, I’ve experienced the same from other drivers and bikers. And as a biker, I experienced the same thing from drivers AND bikers. But as a biker, you need to be more defensive. Don’t challenge bigger vehicles even though you have right of way. No point fighting for your rights when you’re under the blue tent.

Perhaps consider releasing the throttle a bit before upshifting. I can hear the engine overrevving when you have the clutch pulled in

Actually it was perfect weather for the course cuss the instructor was watching how we handle wet weather riding. So if we did something egregious, he will highlight to us! Bonus learning!
What's your review of the Ride Safe Course? Worth to sign up?

So my personal opinion is this course is great for people who have not ridden manual in a long time. If you ride manual every day, the value you get is much lower (I ride a scooter so its great for me to get back in shape for my next license) Level 1: Has too much theory but the sharp turn practice is really good. Not super worth it if you wanna ride Level 2: Expressway riding and convoy riding, barely any theory. instructor will watch how you ride outside and give tips Level 3: Ive yet to take this but this one is the most difficult because you will learn to do stunt manoeuvres to avoid danger. I will probably take this next year

You can go to www.cdc.com.sg/course/ride-safe-course/, at the bottom there should be an enrol button for the various levels!
But yelllow taxi is it belonging to comfortdelgro? Is CDC driving school under the same group?? I not sure leh . Ongself check Ongself is a virtue?🤔

Yeah I also dunno why he liddat sia... I saw him coming up but I signalled damn early but I dun dare change cuss his speed not slowing down.
wonder how all of you pass. 2 times never check blind spot fail already. it may seem dumb when learning but this will save your life on the streets

At which timestamp sir? Maybe the camera movements are not obvious to you, but I most definitely check blindspots before filtering.

Should hv auto bike licence. Like cars, some people just want a bike for cheaper accessible transport.
