Say what you want but the Pistons are a hell of a lot better than they get credit for. There has been this weird phenomenon recently that has caused the Pistons' losses to compound at an exponential rate. The worse the Pistons' record becomes, the more other teams feel the need to win against them in their match-ups. And so, in tragic fashion, the Pistons end up playing what feels like a game 7 in the playoffs. EVERY. NIGHT. Every team brings their A-game because none of them want to be the ones to lose to "the worst team in history." This creates a snowball effect that makes it almost impossible for the Pistons to overcome their losing streak. Keep your head up Pistons, you gave it a good shot!

Nah, Celtics were off. Pistons defense is totally disorganized, and their offense, when it's not ram by Cade is a total disaster, they're definetely not a "2-28 team" if that makes sense, but they're bad, really bad, that coach should be fired.

  • @enigmafiresup4658

Nah I actually think it's the opposite. I think the Pistons are more motivated to win a single regular season game than any other team in the league, so therefore they're always playing hard while other teams relax because the Pistons are on their schedule. Celtics just had a bad shooting night, which is going to happen. They're a team who wins through the 3 ball, and they are built to win 7 game series, even if it means losing to teams like Detroit in the regular season. When shots don't fall all game, they will lose. But usually shots fall enough to win more times than not.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. The Pistons have good young players (Cunningham, Duren, Ivey) I think they just need to sharpen their overall team play and they’ll become scary. The fact they went to overtime with arguably the best team in the league just shows how good they can really be. And yes I know Jaylen Brown was out but with the amount of talent the Celtics have, they should have been able to clear the Pistons with ease. Sucks to see the Pistons on a 28 game losing streak but eventually their luck will turn around. All I can do is tip the hat.

Tatum was 11 for 31 so i can correct the espn stats cause they wont tell you that 31 to score 31 any other player does that he is an overrated volume scorer who sucks
