When you pulled it out of the box it started with 93%. After tatting for a little bit it was still at 93% 🤣 mine lasts for way more than 8 hours more like 10hrs. Absolutely love it👍

Yeah I tattooed 3 hours from 100% it dropped to 78%

so hard to decide whether to get something hella expensive thats tried and true or to try to budget at first.. but then again here i sit not tattoing so. tuff call. thanks for this review! always so thorough

Hi I'm a beginner and have just purchased the mast archer and am really happy with it , I watched your review on this machine and you are totally correct in saying it is great for a beginner , my tattoo work has come on leaps and bounds with this machine , I previously had a stigma rocket and there is no comparison, dragonhawk certainly make some really good pen machines , thanks for the review helped me a lot .

The Archer has been great for me, but I’ve only been tattooing for a year. My battery lasts for quite a while. I charge it whenever it’s not in use. The Mast Pro needles have been great with this machine and I like the Big Wasp 1211 RL’s as well. You’re right on time with the wrap technique. I haven’t even used the plastics with it. I have a couple of their coil machines as well. I’m just a beginner so my opinion doesn’t have much weight, but I like the machine. I’ve been getting tattoos for over 25 years, so I’m very familiar with the process. In my experience I would say this is an inexpensive option that performs well. Good video!

I love watching your informative videos and definitely the review videos. Getting an professionals view point is always great and so thank you for taking your time out to do this for us beginners. With that being said, you started at 93% and ended with 93% battery life. These do charge quick- 2 hours for a full charge and you can also tattoo while charging and so I feel that’s worth mentioning as well. I would love to know what inks you use for deep dark lines and what you recommend for sensitive skin. I have been using Kuro Semi Liner ink and I feel personally I am looking for something darker once it heals fully. Intenze and world famous inks I have used as well on colors. I was going to try the Dynamic ink but I know they went through a bacterial thing with their ink awhile back and was very cautious on trying them. I would LOVE to see a video review on different inks. Also, a tattooing video on doing animals such as a Bear, Lion, Tiger something with fur and lots of shading. An extensive long video showing the entire tattoo process and shading would be FANTASTIC!!!! again, thank you so much for all of your videos. ❤️❤️❤️ much love and respect 💜

Cool review, would be great to see a review of the mast archer max, it has a 4.2 mm stroke. I'm thinking of getting it as a wireless liner.

I've owned the mast archer for a little over a year and I must say it's definitely dependable. I've done small and medium size tattoos with it and it isn't bad. It feels decent when holding. I'm able to do some pretty decent tattoos with it. Having said that my only complaint is the battery. Don't get me wrong the battery will for sure get you through a 4 or 5 hour tattoo or about 6 smaller tattoos with one charge. It's very easy to charge as well. Type c charger was very easy to work with. Overall if you are first starting out this is the machine for you.

Can you adjust the stroke to less than 4.0?

Do the mast tour review and also the duke k1 as well. I have both. Well the duke is on its way. I did notice my depth with the tour line or shade it has to be the same and works good.

What size cartridges the best for this machine?? With lining & shading

My machine hangs my needle out far too much, not sure what I've done but on the lowest setting the cartridge needle is hanging out approx 3-4 mm upto about 6mm. Both are far too much hang for my liking. Wasnt like this origionally, had it a couple of month, any ideas?

I bought that mast from dragonhawk. Works great and the battery life it s exremely hight. Am a beginer but i think it good option for someone getting to tattoing. Do you know if i have to put the grip in a incinerator (autoclivan) like your cheyenne or i can clean it with some kind of creaner, (if i tattoo humman skin). Good job Brandon!

So pen covers that are 65mmx180mm cover the entire pen plus some :) mine are from Amazon, they only cost about $10 for 200 pcs and 3 rolls grip tape! Subscribed!😊

Also what I’m wondering. 🤔🤔 Not sure whether disposable grips alone sufficient to keep this thing clean without an autoclave, as is the issue with most rotary machines.

I have two of these, and I have same problem in VOLTAGE, it doesn’t give the right power, example I set 8V and gives me less around 5V, I realized as the needle starts going slower with greater voltage, somebody has experiences the same situation? They have been used for a couple of times… basically brand new…

Really helpful review, was unsure on what to get but now I know, cheers. Also do you have any recommendations for black ink for shading off Amazon?

I’ve been using Xtreme ink out of Santa Monica. Their Super Black is awesome as an all around black, they have great colors as well. Prices are great as well.

this is true for the archer max. i tattooed 6 hours straight and drained 60% battery

When u turned on the machine for the first time you said it read 93 percent and when you were done ten minutes later it was only at 92!

What brand of needles are better for a machine like that or does it matter?

I seen his later review on those needles that he in fact did like. You also see his favorite needles click easier into them in that other video. I’d go with the ones he reviewed.

Nope. Those are disposable. They melt in an autoclave.

I know this is an old video, but I watched it for the review and when you took it out of the box and checked if it needed charging it was at 93% and then after using it you said it would drain fast but it was still at 93% after 10 minutes of use. Unless you charged it to 100% before you used it it didn't lose any charge.

Just keep unscrewing to the left. It will start clicking and unscrewing.

I’m a gypsy tattoo artist , i currently have a the fk iron flux EXO the powers incredible but I’m afraid of traveling with a 1,000 machine but also don’t want to lower the quality of my art but either way I guess it’s the artist not the machine 🤔 at the end of it all

It started and ended on 93% so it might last the 8 hours.

You can also run this machine while plugged in. Incase it starts to die.

It’s wireless so no foot peddle and no power supply

⭐️ Bought one for my brother last year and he has BEAT that thing, it’s still incredible condition with no issues what so ever. Since the new 4.2 stroke came out, I purchased one for myself and it’s really good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⚠️⚠️HOWEVER, the clear purple mast cartridges are absolutely GARBAGE. I recommend not purchasing any cartridges from them what so ever. They literally just SPIT the ink out right away and hold literally ZERO ink in them. I’ve tried to use like 100 of them and every single one acted exactly the same. ⚠️⚠️ The machine is great, but the cartridges are straight up trash. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
