I saw Suzuli sensei in 1969 0r 1970 at the Wado Championships, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and managed to film some of the action with my Super 8 cine camera, at the time.

I studied under him in the UK @ Lou Raveles Studio 70/71. I will always have the greatest respect for him both as a person and a sensei. And, he could really hurt you if he thought you were not giving it your all. Glad I knew him.

Trained under him in london, he usually wore ankle weights, great gentleman, and often went into the pub afterwoods with him and his crew, they usually had some saki in their bags for a "livener"---great days and a pleasure to have him as instructor----Respect

Me too but as a lary novice and similarly too stupid to realise the company I was in with Sensei Sugasawa alongside at Marvic House. Oh to go back to it all now.
