Xuv 700 launched with all the inputs which lacked in Safari, so next gen safari will be better thany xuv700. But still both are quite amazing products from Indian manufacturer.

I used to love Tata safari now I love the XUV700. I love Mahindra more for their thar hats of to Tata for their wonderful cars

I am a tata lover, but I do like Mahindra, actually M&M tops in each segment where it has a presence, like xuv's,but for me Mahindra second choice😃

Someone said it right: Buy an Innova , ride that for some years/ over lakh kms. You'll buy a safari with its resale value. Same goes with XUV but you have to book it with the Innova and you will get the delivery after a few years with the resale value of Innova.

But if we buy crysta in 2022 in 2032 it will become old. For that I will buy Safari in 2022 and sell it in 2029 and buy a new Tata bulky car rather than paying 30 LAKHS for overpriced Toyota.

@@MotorHeadVerified hey. I was waiting for the person like you for arguing. Tata safari is entry level mild luxury car. It's leather is equal to merc A class. Innova is a name sake MPV. Have you ever traveled in 3rd row of Innova?? If you entered, have you satisfied with its 3rd row legroom?? Even though safari is small (in length) than Innova, it has the best 3rd row comfort. Placing a table in 2nd row doesn't make a car as luxury car. Toyota can't even offer a LED tail light in Innova crysta. Is 30 lakhs only for reliability? Even Tata engines are reliable. For proof just search ' starting a Tata sumo after 12 yrs.'

Guys both brands are amazing and we should be proud of both of them. I’ve owned almost all Mahindra cars and still do but I equally love Tata for the progress they have made over the years.

u guys r too good and hilarious.feel highly elated when best of the suv s r from indian car makers and the safest ones.

Mahindra's products seems to be more cohesive, more tightly integrated. What do i mean is they have more indigenous incredients in the product, mainly engines. Tata is doing exceptional in designing but end product does feel somehow unbaked rather poorly executed. every bits they have been adding is more like an afterthought. Tata definitely might have omitted that technology aspects and solely focussed onto asthetics.

xuv 0-100 is 9.3 s and safari is 11.1 s. also the xuv is more affordable and has more features and drives better. so if you think practically, the safari is not even in competition with the xuv.

I love both companies infact I am a "Nexon" Lover and dont forget that Tata Catering all segments of car but they are not best in any segment. Tata launch Indica but the real king was Swift. Tata launch Sierra but the real king was Thar and Jipsy. Tata launch Safari but the real king was Scorpio. Tata launch Sumo but the real king was Bolero. Tata launch Hexa but the evergreen legendary king was Innova. Nowadays Tata is best seller in EV because of less competition, other companies waiting for good infrastructure for EV's. And most important Mahindra is known only for SUV's. They are Evergreen, Legendary, Iconic, Rugged, Beautiful, Fun to drive, Segment King SUV makers of all Time in India.
