I have drive Tata Punch AMT on hills from Delhi to Nanital (trip around 700+ KM year 2022) and ( Delhi to Smila (trip around 600+ KM year 2022) and ( Delhi to Manali-rohtang pass-Sissu-Manikaran 1300+ KM year 2023), and did not feel any power issue on city mode, and received a good mileage 18 + during all the trip showing on MID, if measure this from Tank to tank mileage was around 20 KM/L, I am happy with the driving comfort all over the way of journey.

The placement of pedals in Tiago is also an issue. Both brake and clutch pedals are closely located, which is a problem for drivers with big size feet

I don't know others but i am getting 13 on ac in city and on highway if drive at 100 then 16-18 or on 80 i am getting 18-20 also i have done off-roading and drove on hills also it is fabulous and also i am driving it on city mode every time and ride quality , handling and suspension are awesome.

City me 13 araha he bahut bada bhai mera to 8-10 araha he, highway par hi acha 20 araha he

DDS Ravi sir took it to ladakh along with fortuner and compass and he said that punch's performance was okay considering the altitude and the number of people in the car .

Acceptable performance hai, not too powerful, not too much underpowered. You can't expect too much from a 3 banger 1.2L .. a turbo would be welcome.

@@sahilbisht5850 koi kharab car nahi bol raha punch ko. Lekin punch basically ek normal hatchback car hai, jo thoda sa solid built hai aur ground clearance jyada hai. Aur tata ko apne petrol engines par definitely thoda kaam karna karna chahiye. Kewal good body quality se kaam nahi chalega .

Same problem was with altroz which built with same engine... After update it was good and also have a good milage after update..... I think u should go to any other service center for ecu update. In my case it was updated but they done it one more time then experience was good

Steering hard in Hills is a good issue u have raised..... I have faced the same problem, when i shifted from Hyundai i10 to tata tiago in Hills , it felt extremely hard, to the extent where i have to reduce the speed because i wasn't able to steer it... Any tata ownerI wanna know ur opinion over this.. 🙌 Note- i drive enthusiastically on hills (fast)

100% agreed to your comment. Due to steering tightness you will feel little over burdened and you will reduce speed. I too drive enthusiastically on hills.

sir maine purani Chevy Spark li thi, 4 saal pahle, pahle se muze lag raha tha AC ka performance thik nahi hai, magar 2 saal baad engine bhi garam ho raha tha, aur bar bar coolant leak ya khatam hota tha, kuchh mahine pahle, mechanic ki salah se maine gasket change kiya aur coolant ka cap bhi change kiya, abhibhi same problem hai, coolnat rahta hi nahi gadi me, kahase nikal jaata hai aur engine garam bhi hota hai. Signal dikhayi de itna bhi heat nahi hota, shayad meri running nahi hai jada isliye abhitak aise band wagaira nahi padi gadi. Fan bhi change kiya, AC bhi thik karwaya. gadi ka problem muze waiseka waisa hi lag raha. mechanic ko bol bol ke thak gaya. Kya karna hoga? I am from Maharashtra. AAPSE BAHOT DUR HU.

Bhai coolant khatam hone ke 2 karan h ya to wo piston ke wha jal rha h ya to khi leak h....... Jab aapne head gasket ka kaam karaaya tha tab piston clean nikle the????? Agar nhi to radiator or tharmostate valve check karwaiye..... Or haa heater core bhi check karwaiye uske chock rhne se bhi heating ka issue aata h.... Mere pass bhi spark h 2010 model

Only Turbo (Altroz) or EV (26kw)powertrain will be work fine with PUNCH else this NA 3 cylndr engine is ok for those who want learn car or buying first car or budget buyers. I own Altroz Tubro its a kind of safest rocket.....on highway.

bhaiya mere pas bhi punch accomplished with dazzle hai April 1st week 2022me liya tha. Tank to Tank 20 & 21.3 mileage measure kiya hu , With a/c , Highway , eco mode, speed 75-80kmph. 350kms drive. Local running 17.5 - 18.5 mileage with a/c, eco mode Gaaon me running 15 mileage with a/c , eco mode. Total kms done 8100kms. Till now. clutch release time vibration sahi btaya aapne..

Honesty saying that the 1st gear stock problem is my tiago also...after 4000 km....but on 3rd service they resolved it ..and after that almost. After 500-600 km this problem doestn't came till now & hope will never come . The lack of power in 1st - 2nd gear is fact in all tata's small seg car which have N.A engine .but mid range of all of these car is good !!!! ⚠️:Dont make contro from this comment i just honestly share my openion😊😊

For hills, one must go with a diesel car, because there is always need of torque, in some areas of hills, even diesel cars on sports mode have problems, like nexon diesel on sport mode, so, what is a punch in front of Nexon(D)

Sir , मुझे लगता है की, टाटा को fiat से इंजिन्स लेने चाहिए, टाटा को पेट्रोल engine's बनाने नही आते, मेरे पास टियागो हे, इस दिसंबर को 7 साल complete हो जाएगा , टीयागो का एंजिन भी बोहोत underpowered हे , ओर बोहोत ज्यादा vibrations भी है , पुरी की पुरी गाडी हीलती हैं, आप जो humming बोल रहे है, वो प्रॉब्लेम सभी 1.2 ltr Revotron Engines मे है ( टियागो, पंच, अलत्रोज ) , इसका कोई solution है क्या ? 🥴

On same road I got 18 kmpl. 2-3 gear. Speed max 40-50 on city mode without ac. Delhi to haldwani on economy mode with ac 23 kmpl speed 75-80 max.

Alloy wheels se kuch fayda ho sakta hai. Steel wheels se alloys halke hote hai, acceleration better hoga.

My tigor engine same problem

Have driven it to Bageshwar(UK) and Kufri (HP) with one family member..Car does feel underpowered especially on steep slopes.. Although given 3 cylinder and weight of the vehicle i am not complaining but in case you have to put brakes on a steep slope, gadi itni zyada piche bhagti hai bas bhagwan malik hai.. Overall I am satisfied with my car after 26K but won’t recommend driving on hills

People need to learn the difference in 3 cylinder and 4 cylinder. It has nothing to do with power. World's top brands are using 3 cylinder only. Power has to do with CC. Punch has sufficient power by the way. Foolish people.

Bhai aapka har ek point se mei sehmat hun. Completely agree bhai. Mere paas Tigor hai aur mei bi Creta chalata hun pahado mei. Dono ki performance mei zameen aasman ka farak hai. Aur mileage ke mamle mei bi Tigor petrol nahi KOON peete hai pahado mei. Bakwaas engine hai . Mene ek pichle apki video ki comment mei mene aapko mana bi kiyatha bhai PUNCH na leke kuch aur try karne ke liye. Patha nahi aapne shayad pada nahi uss comment ko. Par mei tabbi isii cheese ko samjana chataa tha. Ki ee engine ki performance is not great. Bahut hi takelaa engine hai. Highway mei bhi CITY mode me agar aap 120KMPH drive karna chate ho tho RPM will be around 3.8 or 4000. Aur 120 chalane se mileage bi 12-14 hojata hai. Creta 120 chalne mei almost 19+ average deta hai.

@@seven6094 Bhai mene bi mileage nikaali hai par bahut shaanti se chalana padega. Itna shaanti se aap pahado mei nahi chala paoge. Mai 2018 se Tigor owner hun aur pata hai muje. Mere friends ke bi aur bi kahi saari car chaladi mene par ee engine utna kaas nahi hai. Yaa tho aap pura mileage machine banao yaa fir pura mazee wala engine. Ee revtron 1.2 tho dono nahi karne deta hai. Aur pahado mei tho ee dum thod de tha hai aur mileage bi nahi deta hai.

People staying in hills should consider this.. City ke logo ko itna critically dekhna nahi chiye

Definitely bro.. 800-1000 cc Maruti cars are best in hills.... 1200cc Maruti car's gear ratio is not made for hills its more for highway drive.. i.e swift, beleno..

@@eyebeesvlogs4544 yes please., try i10 kappa 1.2..for highways it's a so-so car... But in hills this car has won my heart... So effortlessly it drives, surely with ac off... In AC on every small car becomes underpowered 😅😅

I have purchased punch I agree the average is low but if you take it for long tour anything above 300kms I got like 17kmpl but in city i never got above 13 kmpl Rest i am agree with ur review about the power issue Also chk for clutch issue bcz i dont feel this on mine only thing bothers me is sometime i cant put the car into reverse but the company guy said just engage 1st gear then reverse it actually solved this problem

For me also city average is near about 12-13 and highway it is 23-28. Depending on road. If we put cruise control in eco mode then you can expect 28 also. These are all meter readings. Also for my punch car first service is yet to be done and currently drove 2000 km.

But I have seen so many reviews but not a single one as poor as yours. May be something wrong with this particular vehicle. For last one year the average sale of punch is more than 10000 per month but if the performance of punch is so poor no one would have purchased it.
