Series 17, Episode 1 - 'Grappling with my life.' | Full Episode
Комедия
Flanked by his efficient assistant Alex Horne, Greg Davies returns to remorselessly judge five quaking comics desperate to get their hands on his fabled golden head trophy. Joanne McNally, John Robins, Nick Mohammed, Sophie Willan and Steve Pemberton are the contestants hoping they still have a career after tasks involving roller blinds, a floating primate and, as is traditional, eggs.

In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

From this episode alone, I know Sophie is going to be one of my favourite contestants. Her absolute confusion during the blinds painting task made me genuinely laugh out loud
‘I was going to add it to the rest of my eggs for safety’ 😂😂😂😂😂
So excited and glad that this show gets it with regards to international distribution
Let's go! First episode of the new season of Taskmaster dropping on my birthday! What a good way to celebrate haha

Have a great birthday weekend! Your time starts now.
The egg was chased by poachers! 😅
I'm an American and I've seen every episode of this show amongst other BBC panel shows and regular shows and I love it. Taskmaster and Big Fat Quiz has introduced me to some absolutely fucking hilarious comedians and actors. Yall really are a country of talent in my eyes.
19:10 I love this moment out of context
I cannot get enough of Greg and Alex.😂❤
English is my second language and the two Word task broke me 25:03

To be fair, it seems like it broke some people to whom English is a FIRST language 😂
At last, felt like an addict waiting for a fix. Thank you from South Africa
What did we learn today tho??? WHAT DID WE LEARN, GREG????

You're right!
Thank you so much for whatever y'all had to do to get this online in the US straightaway. So glad I don't have to steal it anymore.
Amazing episode, really great lineup of contestants for this series. Steve's weird and wonderful mind seems absolutely perfect for Taskmaster tasks.
I just love how unphased by Nick's costume I was when I first saw it. It was just "yep, makes sense"
they were just on Seth Meyers and that's the only reason I got any one in my family to watch this show, after I've binged it over and over again for 16 seasons 😂
Nick is ridiculously adorable and Sophie is going to be the one that makes me laugh the most. I already love this cast.
Local poachers chasing the egg😂 Brilliant word play
Omg!!! It’s all happening so fast! Excited for another season and Nick of course 😂
Sophie: "I'm not Johnny Fucking Vegas!" Says it just like Johnny would! She's already my favorite of the series, so happy the new series is on
I am so happy Taskmaster UK is back. As an American not a lot of us really get it but I couldn't be more happy! I hope Alex and Greg coming to NYC for the premiere makes some stuff happen over here. I'd love a proper reboot of the US version. I think we might be ready.

Agreed. my pitch for host: Conan O’Brien. I just feel like it has to be someone tall.

Conan as Greg and Matt as Alex would make me very happy. And have Sona on point for color.

Who will I fall in love with this season? There’s always one, well at least one if I’m being honest.
I looove the Victorian look of the living room
YES!!! The Taskmaster episodes must flow.
At 19 minutes, right before she exclaimed she was not Johnny Vegas, I thought, "man, she reminds me of Johnny Vegas.
