Brynley's letter had excellent synergy with her costume.

He's a man of few words, but when he does speak, everything he says is hilarious.

I would think "call someone you went to primary school with" gets significantly harder for anyone born around 1980 or earlier. Sure, people do drift apart so older is always tougher. But if you had a mobile phone in school there's a fair chance you'll keep that number for the rest of your life. So people you didn't stay close with might still have your number somewhere. Before that, contacting someone meant their parents land line. Even if you still had that on a list somewhere it's unlikely to actually reach the person.

I was born in 81 and I have 3 people on my FB that I was friends with in elementary school. Only one of which is in my contacts list. All of them are just acquaintances at this point, but if I Messaged them to tell them I needed to call them, I bet all three would give me their number to do so, or would pick up my Messenger call. 😆

It was very smart of Angela to message Guy, he had so little points it didn't matter if he won the final task.

I am SUCH an Angella stan at this point!!

I'm sorry but Angela and Bryn should have both gotten 10 points for that costume task. They were both incredible and took SO much courage to do.

24:33 - This task has made its way onto a few of the international shows. It's always fun. I sincerely hope it continues its rounds and even makes it on to TM UK.

this season took a while to grow on me but this episode was genuinely incredible, one of the best episodes of any season even.

I see why Angela is such a sweet heart, her mom is the best of us. Angela had me laughing at leveraging it with cheek

Guy in the call someone from primary school and Leigh in the costume task are genuinely my top tier taskmaster moments

The typing a letter to the Taskmaster task is my favorite of the series and one of my faves across any series, actually. "Mmmmmm ass ass mmmmmmmm" and Leigh's gibberish slay me every time!

Across every international version of taskmaster it is agreed upon that the golden head prize should only vaguely resemble the host and just slightly look like the taskmaster

The Brynley Gollum really got me 😂

It may not have been outlandish, but wearing the exact same outfit under itself was friggin' funny! After all, as Leigh himself has said, it's not about the points.

SPOILERS if you haven't finished the episode. I knew Brynley was wearing a wig the last two episodes and in my head I was like, "Weird choice, but who am I to judge?" And then we get... this. Amazing.

I have a dish of beads on my lap and I had to pause the episode because Angella’s Unicorn Rug was making me shake laugh uncontrollably and I was tearing up too hard to be able to see to put my beads away safely🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 omg, I love her so much! Beads are now secured👌

Just once I really REALLY wished I was on an episode of this show. Not because I'd well, quite the contrary. I don't have the phone number of _anybody_ I went to primary school with. Nobody. Not a single one. If I had been in that task, it would have been a 6 hour affair.

I love Taskmaster NZ series! All the cast have grown on me so much, esp Angella. :)

For my taste, the NZ TM is the best of the non-UK taskmaster versions so far. I did not know who any of these entertainers were when the show started, and I love them all now. Well, except for the guy named Guy who is obnoxious and seems a few chippies short of a bag (in the thinking department). I think the second season of NZ TM is even a bit better than the first.

I'm thinking the main reason Guy is on the show is because he was easy to book for the first season. Being Paul's brother he must intentionally be a bit more obnoxious because that's just how siblings are

8:19 I would KILL this task. My boyfriend of nearly 3 years went to elementary school with me. I had a crush on him back then too. Then we went to different middle schools, then started being friends again in our 3rd year(junior) of high school and started dating over winter break that year. Now we’re in our college years and still going strong

I love the recorded tasks, but I've been consistently disappointed in the scoring and design of the live tasks. The phones should have all been silent, then they reveal at the end of each round who got a text. These live tasks must drive LAH nuts when he reviews them.
