Thank you for the amazing content. Always informative and well edited to highlight the technique. I’m looking forward to breakdown videos, they help me to pick up on the names of the moves as well. I’m just getting started and your videos are entertaining and educational. Best to you and peace

The German actually did have a grip for that Tani Otoshi. Watch his left hand, he reaches behind his own back and grabs his opponents sleeve. I've seen this tactic used for sumi gaeshi, but never Tani Otoshi....

The idea of having a repertoire of throws and ne-waza highlighting the most effective variants, grips, etc. with video from judo tournaments is a great idea. You are evolving, grasshopper, Congrats and good luck.

Krikbay vs Zaalashvili I think it is the closest to tawara gaeshi as you can get with modern rules and in this weight class.

@Judo Highlights I understand that you're considering putting your Discord server behind a paywall because of previous issues with spam. However, I want to let you know that there are ways to mitigate and prevent spam on your server without resorting to charging people for access. Firstly, you can use various moderation tools and bots that are specifically designed to detect and remove spam. These bots can help you set up automatic filters that will catch and remove unwanted messages before they even reach your server. Additionally, you can appoint moderators to manually review messages and remove any spam that slips through the filters. Secondly, you can set up verification systems for new members to ensure that they're legitimate and not just spammers creating throwaway accounts. This could involve requiring members to have a certain amount of activity on other social media platforms before being allowed to join your server, or requiring them to answer a set of questions to prove that they're not bots. Overall, there are many strategies you can use to prevent spam on your Discord server. Putting it behind a paywall may seem like a quick fix, but it's important to remember that not everyone can afford to pay for access. By taking the time to set up effective moderation tools and verification systems, you can create a thriving community without having to charge for entry.

@@hongasbongas1268 this comment was so well written it sounds like it came from chatGPT lol. Yeah I’ll think about it. I think probably the way to go is offer the base product for free and tack on a few extra benefits for paying KZread members.

When i get a bit older, i would like to train in Japan. Can you make a video of which club you think is best (Times, tokai, ashikasei, kokshukan, etc.) And do you know how to train in some of these clubs? Do you need some ranking or good results in Japan or in international competitions?🙂 Pls help me, love from Norway.
