What is “anointing” ? That word is thrown around so loosely today. You don’t need God’s anointing to be a performer and give a good show. Is anybody being delivered from the clutches of Satan? Any sick being raised up and healed? Any hungry poor folks being fed. Anybody seeing about the abused and abandoned children and checking on the elderly. Entertainment is not what Jesus called the church to do. Get out these pulpits and off these stages and get out into the hedges and highways and get busy!!!!!!! No harm no foul 🙏🏿💕

2024, and I JUST came across this. I have watched this OVER 20 times in a row! Its crazy because I usually listen to Vanessa Bell Armstrongs version on the Classics!

She song this one! Never enjoyed her like this before. After being on cocaine and a singer too. Some people don't have a singing voice because of the use of drugs. Thank God for delivering her from that. Most people who are hooked need to know God can do it for them too..

@@TheRoyal9Billion I got you. Steven Roberts wrote this song. Vanessa released it first (Vanessa's version was released in 1984 and GMWA's version came out in 1985 though it was recorded in 1984). IJS it wasn't a "James Cleveland song" tho, unlike Peace Be Still.

I have to watch this everyday. I've been there, when all I can say is "JESUS JESUS JESUS JESUS". Then I look back through the years, and all I can say is " thank You JESUS". This song is a whole ministry.
