Technically, we got to know King I was killed by Ogre when Tekken 3 got released, so 1997-1998 for King I (poor bastard got killed off-screen). Armor King I appeared in the console intro (overseeing King II's training) and King II's ending in Tekken 3. He got killed by Marduk just before Tekken 4, which released in 2001. While AK's appearance in King II's ending could be considered non-canon, Tekken 3's console intro might as well be canon, since it shows Nina being awoken from her cryosleep by Ogre (which actually happened, Nina was controlled by Ogre to kill Jin, and in one of Ogre's winposes he beckons Nina to return; his voicelines are sentences in Japanese played in reverse, you get that winpose by pressing and holding 3, or X in PlayStation terms, while the replay is played), Heihachi arriving to ancient ruins left in flames by Ogre, Eddy escaping prison alongside his capoeira Mestre, a meeting between Hwoarang and Jin that was most probably followed by the pre-tournament fight they fought to a draw, and Jin getting his famous mark on his left arm.

Ahhh... Back when Armour King had the Dragon Fist technique. I miss this game.

Armor King reversing King's Figure Four Leg Lock to win a round was highly satisfying. Also, brownie points for the Jack-2 bonus match.

The dips are crazy here lol And the way the music cut out perfect at the KO at the end of 4:17

Looking back, Tekken 2 was pretty freaking amazing. And not just for it's soundtrack.

You know, I kinda miss when the fruit from Pac-Man represented how many wins a player had in the first two Tekken games. It's the little details you learn to appreciate as you get older.

King and Armor King still are some of the funniest characters you can ever pick. They both play like if this was a whole different game, those animations look quite unique for its time and they still look great even after more than 20 years.

What I really love about TAS is that the characters can perform moves that players had yet to discover until now.

I had a weekly Tekken 2 tournament at my house for over one year straight with my friends. Best time of my life :)

The moment from 2:36 is genius and 3:56 too.

Ah, the good old days when Armor King was literally a Mishima with the EWGF and quick Lightning Screw Uppercut. Can't forget old King's legendary insta-kill Octopus Stretch.

@@chaoscontroller316 A few of the characters in this game had similar movesets, I think it was because of the tech limitations at the time. Jack and Kuma had very similar movesets as well.

​@@Weird_dude265me personally I liked AK's uppercut in Tag 1 and in his secret move in 7 where you input wgf during a ki charge and he does his new-old uppercut that isn't a mishima's

Basically: King vs the King they tell him not to worry about.

I had no idea King's chain grabs could be countered, it was cool to see!

It's in Tekken 6 too but you need special underwear to use it?

King VS Jack just like Tekken 7, on a TK2 stage that comes the closest to TK7 Arena, with the TK1 Stadium (arena kind of stage) track. I like the thought you put into this, great work!

The first Armor King is based off the late mark rocco and the second incarnation is based off the late WWE superstar Eddie Guerrero

I didnt even know you could counter Kings combo grabs. Only seen them on T3. Countering was really hard on T2 though

The drip, the sauce. 🤌🏾 Back at it again with the flame 🔥 Absolutely love all the pouncing going in that cat fight, I love when characters can fight in dynamic and large, and in this case aerial, combat. I fought a silly Akuma online with Devil Jin and it was all jumping, flying, fireballs and lasers. Also Jack-2 pulled off some sassy ass combos

철권 1에서 철권 2로 넘어올때 제일 너프안당한 캐릭터라서 JDCR님이 다룬다면 정말 역대 최강의 아머킹이라고 해도 손색이 없을 거 같습니다. 저스트 프레임이긴 하지만 툼스톤 다음에 풍신권이 들어가기도하고. 😈

TA stands for "Tool Assisted" - It basically means playing with an emulator to advance the game frame-by-frame, make sure inputs are sent exactly at the right moment, save state and go back in case of need to correct the outcome of the action, if it didn't pan out as expected or there was a mistake. It's a work of perseverance and creative skill, but it's not actually playing the whole thing in real time, as some of the interactions shown in the video are pretty much just frames (not humanly undoable, but would require an unbelievable amount of execution)

Armor King was absolutely terrifying in Tekken 1. That godlike d/f+1 AND the Wind God Fist!

I like how King's theme song is playing in Nina Williams stage, it should be Nina's theme playing in this stage. But this was a good fight and the song was a good choice. Great fight, it was like watching an anime fight and a Wrestlemania match at the same time. The replays reminded me of a double feature like the WWF Attitude era
