man this game is so underrated...definitely deserves a remaster

This game was addicting and HIGHLY underrated... hidden (in America) by it's other vs. series brethren... I DO hope they make an HD port or something of this game and release it for Switch... these polished graphics show just how gorgeous this game CAN look without the lo-res restrictions of the Wii....

I mean to be fair, it was ported to the west specifically because fans kept begging capcom. And it sold relatively well at half a million. So there may be hope?

@@Blackcherrysyrup something I dont understand with Capcom and Snk and other companies...fans cey out for certain games and such,and they just say f yall. We gonna put out games that we think will make more money. And of course the rights and stuff get in the way. One company can be down for certain titles,but yet the other company be like...naw,nope we dont wanna let you use our characters for your game👎🏿.

I don't think an HD port is feasible, given that Tatsunoko isn't very known outside Japan and certain parts of Europe. It got released in the USA thanks to the fans' insisting Capcom (DESPITE THEM NOT KNOWING WTH TATSUNOKO IS IN THE FIRST PLACE AND THEY ONLY CARE ABT THE CAPCOM SIDE OF THE THING) and that didn't sold much copies. So the incentivation for an HD remake just isn't there outside Japan for obvious reasons.

The local arcade in my area still has this game. Oddly enough, Ryu and Chun-Li are my squad; I used to play this and just go combo crazy with 'em after classes because the arcade was right across the street from the college I attended at the time. The good ol' days 😊

I just don’t get how capcom doesn’t make a bunch of these, everyone loves them and no one cares who anyone fights

To be fair, back then the Wii was selling buckets, the ps3 was having a rough start and PC gaming wasn’t a thing japanese devs took into account. It’s a bit sad but it’s a product of its time :(

@@PSNMyfoot so so true. Now that you mention that. Ps3 price and kind of lack of games hurt it alot back then. And if this was released around ps4 time...more than likely it would have got ported too ps4 cause of sells. Same with Nintendo Switch,dude if Switch came right after the Wiii an not Wii U,with enough demands they would have possibly ported too the Switch. And possibly did a sequel later on.

To think this was the last Capcom crossover games that literally oozed with the same passion as the 1st 2 MVC crossover games. At least the version we got has the better soundtrack surprisingly. I don't think any of the Japanese tracks would've been as memorable as Orbital Ring System Cargo Bay's theme.

Hay algo curioso con este juego la versión japonesa tiene intros tipo anime en cada ending y pesa como 4 gb mientras la versión americana o Europea pesa como 2 gb le quitaron los intros animados y reemplazados por imágenes estáticas con textos otra cosa a resalta son personajes exclusivos de cada versión

What upsets me is how easily defeatable the boss is. But yes, this game is wonderfully done. I grew up watching G-Force(Battle of the Planets) and wanted to play as them, but never wanted to shill out to buy a Wii.

This game was SO good & Fun! They would've sold multiMILLIONS of copies if they weren't idiots and made it available for other platforms, instead of being a wii exclusive in 2010. People were blown away by this because this was a new Marvel vs Capcom type game they wanted. But when MvC3 came out in 2011, this got thrown into the back burner.

To be fair, TvC originally on arcade machines that run on Wii based hardware, hence why the Wii exclusivity. That being said, TvC 2 needs to happen on other consoles.

They're playable characters in Fortnite in collaboration with Street Fighter.

There is Ken from Street Fighter, Ken from Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, and there is Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star. Trust me, there are a lot of characters named Ken.

You would think this would handle like a standard vs title but they dumbed down the control scheme for the wii, otherwise i think it has everything expected of such a title. Still waiting for a new darkstalkers and project justice.
