I didn't think there would be a TAS of this game. But here it is! It was amazing, too. Now I need to find my copy of SSX 3, because I want to play it again.

uber tricks. fill the bar, perform uber tricks to fill up the UBER letters at the bottom, then the SUPER letters. When both are completed he has unlimited boost but as you see here it does go back to the UBER letters after a certain amount of time despite him continuing to perform uber tricks. At least thats how i remember it! Has been a while!!

Well.....that was awesome. The thought you put into rail usage was just fabulous. I like how you did this on a speed run, its one thing to be able to button mash tricks and board back up the hill but its a whole nother thing entirely to do it quickly and efficiently. Just fucking awesome. Definitely a gaming accomplishment. PS do you play SSX 2012?

Understand that this is a TAS, or a tool-assisted speedrun. While this run is still really cool, the player isn't doing this in real time. He can play frame by frame, going back and correcting any motions that he wants.

Yeah this is about how good i do at the game when finger eleven comes on

how do you do the 50/50 rail foot surf, i have been playing this game for ages now and never done that trick.

Ok it's a tool assisted video. This maybe explain why at the end 17:57 a score of 4308800 plus a combo chain bonus of approximately 4461515 equal a total score of 12492699 instead of something like 8770315. But what is the reason to cheat on such a huge final score lol !? Whatever, respect for holding your combo from the top of the peak till the finish line ! 548 combos ! It seems completely crazy lol

Not actually a bug! I assume you're wondering because he has 548x combo and holding a combo of about 4.5 million, so that means 548 * 4,500,000, which is about 2.5 billion points? Basically, the combo doesn't work like that. The 548x is just how many tricks he has chained in his combo, not actually something the game multiplies by to calculate his score. Basically, the combo actually holds around 8 million points when he finishes. :)

How do you spin so fast? i have spin and tricks maxed out but i still don't spin that fast.

It handle it perfectly. The end score is correct. But the counting up animation wasn't fast enough to show the right number. The combo actually holds around 8 million points in the end.

You really don't need a TAS for this score.

alisa343 No, I haven't, as I'm not insanely good at the game, but even not being that good I can see that by keeping combo and getting 20,000 bonus Monster Tricks at every possible instance, it would be feasible to pull off. Personally, with a TAS, my opinion is that 15mil is possible.

+Shinku Quickman You're right, with TAS, about 50-60 million is probably possible. The human world record for this run is 31 mill on and that run is old, but that's not what this run is about - this run is about going super fast and still doing tricks when you can, which is what makes this run impressive - it's doing sick tricks on the race route. It's not ALL about the score, I'm sure he could make a much better TAS run if he went for score only. :)

He said in the description he's only doing the Peak Jam for the superior route, not the points. Speed first, score second. But, it's much cooler if he's doing tricks as well, especially with one combo throughout the whole run.

Any person can beat this.. hell if i still had this game i'd beat this record!

Dude, he clearly said that speed was his main objective...beat his time AND his score? Yea, no. No you are not. Of course you can beat the trick score if you just spam up walls and use every second, anyone can, but if you could READ, you would notice that he said speed was his main objective.. A herp de derp.

Obviously, since you aren't articulate enough to demonstrate a point in a way that makes sense. What you are you referring to then? You cant beat his trick score, you cant beat his time, what is that you can beat? Nothing. And if you thought you could, you still couldn't anyway, and if you did bother to attempt it, you probably wouldn't provide any proof. So basically you are full of shit.

Didn't see once where he clearly would have fell. There are a few edge cases, but it is last second calibration that saves it.
