In this game you get to control all four turtles and draw use of their different abilities ― or, at least that was the intent, but Donatello has both better reach and damage than the others, so he is used more or less constantly. The game features a well-written in-game dialogue, such as “Here.” and “Oh!”
mamuuuut ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/m... ), lapogne36 ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/l... ) and adelikat ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/a... ) improve the previous movie ( tasvideos.org/1594M ) by 41.96 seconds, thanks to improved lag reduction and overall better optimization.

I love it when final fights can be won by doing absolutely nothing and runs are technically shortened by it

When I disarmed all the bombs in the damn, I basically beat the game at that point, in my mind.....I spent the rest of the time driving around in the turtle van until my Nintendo overheated and kept resetting itself.

Yeah, it was great...except the strange thing was that it has nothing to do with TMNT. Hahaha...I wonder if they had issues securing the music rights or something. I mean really, much of the game doesn't really resemble TMNT other than bosses, cut scenes, and the turtles. When compared to TMNT 2 on the NES, it's clear Konami took a lot of liberties here...just not sure if it was out of legal neccessity or some other reason.

Great coding and great TAS, I have always found it interesting to take advantage of every pixel.

fun fact about the dam level, even though the TAS rushes and finishes with 1:20 left, you don't have to rush that much to actually beat that stage. if you take your time and be careful, you can finish with around 10-20 seconds remaining. This may seem scary, but as long as you don't screw up terribly, you'll be fine. also you can make use of switching out the turtles if one is low on HP.
1:20 Back then, I was like « yeah I beat the game!! » but... The dam always win.

It's a glitch, described on the resources page for this game: basically you hold up + down + l/r and attack. I'm guessing this makes the game load the wrong animation and weapon hitbox data.
