Alex Silver Although his effort in programming this speedrun is commendable, please take note this is not actually a player doing this. TAS stands for Tool Assisted Speedrun. As the name implies the run is done by a program doing all the command inputs wich results in this "perfect run". Although it is highly entertaining to watch keep in mind a TAS run is, in essence, fake.

+Urist McTubedwarf This is the North American version; the lack of reverb is an emulation error. Using the European version would be much slower, both due to it running at 50Hz as well as extra time wasted on a copy protection gimmick requiring you to insert Disc 1 of MGS1 before you could play.

OMG so much Ai abuse, these genome soldiers cant keep up as you run circles around them XD superior vision due to their gene therapy MY ARSE, they cant see 6-8ft in front of them you can run past, those vision cones are not worth Jack nor S**t! XD Ah wonderful stuff this was a thrill to watch, well done indeed! MGS still has a an incredible sense of style, still strong to this day! This TAS was done on the PlayStation version. I'm not sure if that bug works on PC but I'd assume so.

+Daniel Babativa He doesn't throw the C4. He put 2 C4 in the same guard. In MGS (at least, in PSX), C4 doesn't active a chain explosion or explode all C4s at the same time, instead, they explode 1 by 1 (in the same order you put the C4). The first one kill the guard and move it "faster" to the camera, and the second one explode also in the guard, but close enough to the camera for exploding that too.

I think ied have to faverate the ninja missionary explosives and single handed weapons sneaking was fun but much easier to dispatch and ignore them minus being forced to kill then not as fun but still...

J'ai réussi les VR MISSIONS à 100% sur le METAL GEAR sur GBC. Pour réussir toutes les missions, il faut battre le premier TEMPS RECORDS dans les TIME ATTACK et bien sûr réussir les autres VR MISSION.

+Amalokch The randomness of Snake's position could only be changed by restarting several times for some reason. I tried a few other things, including waiting several frames before entering the level, but nothing else seemed to change the RNG seed.

I got 99% and I still can't play as the FUCKING NINJA!!!!
