Yashiro é um cara muito forte. Ele rivaliza com o Iori nas bandas tratando como inimigo sendo que ele quer vingança contra Iori por sua banda não ter sido classificada. Yashiro possui uma força impressionante. Adoro ver a pose de vitória dele em que tira uma garrafinha de água e se molha no KOF 98. No KOF 97,ele chama uma águia.

Pode ser mesmo, porque essa geração de devs de jogo de luta dos anos 90 era muito nerd de anime e manga. Não que não tenham nerds hoje, mas lá era muito. E além disso, como era a era de ouro de animes, acho que eles até tinham vontade de botar referências meio sem "pudor". Tipo como a própria história de Kof 97 é basicamente o começo da saga do Majin Buu de Dbz. E como o fim de Kof 96 lembra os tipicos torneios onde acaba tudo destruído, em Dbz e Yuyu Hakusho. E como os chars de Last Blade são quase plágio de Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X. E como o Shizumaru de SS parece ser baseado no Kenshin. Etc etc. Isso era muito forte também em outras empresas, não só Snk.

@@CarlosAntonio-mv1ie Ah, legal, não sabia que era o Kurama. Sim, era bem legal como as criações "conversavam" entre os jogos e a cultura de anime na época. Além disso a cultura de filmes americanos que tinha muita força no Jp. O próprio Art of Fighting é um tipo de imitação de filme de artes marciais dos anos 80. Já hoje parece que os devs tem medinho de mostrar referências (bom, basta só não fazer como o K9999) e querem forçar demais pra mostrar que são originais. O resultado é que saem esses chars tipo o Shun'ei do Kof Xiv...

Eu acho muito bonito os combos da Shermie (Ela em si já é linda kek). Btw, ótimo vídeo.

Shermie é linda com a roupa rosa e a ruiva francesa detona os oponentes com os golpes e agarrões. Pena ela ser uma serva do Orochi sendo Hakkeshu... Uma mulher dessa não devia ter esse destino trágico... Presumo que na época do KOF 97 ela teve 21 anos. Shermie é uma das minhas favoritas do KOF por ter carisma e charme.

Yashiro é o mais forte lutador do New Faces Team e do Orochi New Faces Team além de ser o mais terrível. Chris é o mais rápido e ágil. E a Shermie é a mais habilidosa e linda. Esses três entraram no KOF 97 porque roubaram o convite do USA Team e entraram no KOF com falsos pretextos sendo que queriam por o plano em ação.

Chris é Christessen e ele é sueco. Pena que não deram HSDM direito pra ele no KOF 2002 e o que deram foi uma transformação. O HSDM do Chris no KOF 2002 devia ser ele teleportando e batendo várias vezes no oponente deixando paralisado na tela no momento da luta finalizando depois com um ataque de soco mandando pra bem longe.

Muito boa a evolução desses chars nessa versão. A minha impressão é que fizeram um trabalho melhor de mostrar "evolução" dos chars nesse jogo do que no Kof Xiv (tem algumas exceções mas no geral pra mim é isso). O Xiv parece mais copiado dos anteriores, menos capaz de trazer ideias próprias em questão de jogabilidade e movelist.

I guess from Snk you mean. Because they are one of the most loved teams of the whole series. It's incredible (but not really surprising, thinking about it) that they beat a lot of Kof/Snk veterans in popularity from the time they showed up in 97. Even 97 itself was boosted particularly high also because of their debut.

Sadly Snk never got to make a 3rd dreammatch that was supposed to mix in all 3 story arcs, after Kof Xiii. Because of Snk's situation. Given the New Faces popularity, im sure they would appear in that possible game. Very unfortunate because i feel that game would have very good chances to beat the best Kof overall which is this 02um.

@@carlosaugusto9821 Yes that's exactly what I mean. It confuses me that Iori had a few rock inspired image songs but Shermie only gets one not with CYS. Her moves remind me of a less smooth version of Angel's pro wrestling. I feel like they would be better utilized in a spin-off game than KOF. SNK has way too many loved and fondly remembered characters who are only confined to cameos.

@@seinenwax94jr9 Yes, there are too many good chars at this point to fit in a game. And Snk's designers were absolutely the best of the 90s scene and full of creative energy. Around the mid 90s they even start to explore their character creation skills more, and Kof started to get more original chars than actual Snk veterans. (And in Garou they totally outdid Capcom in terms of "new gen roster", something where Capcom failed and that severely harmed Sf3, but in Garou the new roster was an instant success) But until the early 00s, because of the arcade era production style, that cast inflation (in total numbers) caused by Snk's insane creative energy was properly dealt with... Since Snk invented the idea of "dreammatch" which allowed many chars to get in regardless of lore. And those games (99 and 02), scheduled to come after the conclusion of story arcs (Orochi and Nests), managed to never leave many fan favorites away from the public for too long. The problem is just that the annual sequels model ended by the mid 00s. And the big problem was that a bunch of issues prevented the Ash dreammatch of ever coming... So that incident left guys like the New Face team longer from the public. Otherwise Kof Xi-Xiii (probably named after years) would have come out much earlier, then a dreammatch later, just as usual.
