You don't know how much of a godsend you are for being the only person to show off the PS2 version of this game in high quality. Even though some of the 3D backgrounds in this game aren't fully rendered in PCSX2, I absolutely love how they look regardless. Talking of which, there's a patch that fully renders the 3D backgrounds for some of the King of Fighters games that have them (e.g., 2003, Neowave, XI) if you install PCSX2 1.7.0.

Or you can say Igniz was using NESTS Nano-Machines to keep himself to stay Young as possibly can, If Takuma is having a lot of Back or Chest pains, he should stop by at NESTS to get some Nano-Machines. 😂

*Krizalid* was the idealist follower who is a real good and caring person but have to do a evil work only to be killed off and cloned by his superiors... a real tragic villain here. *Clone Zero* gives an impression that he knows too much things to considers himself a lesser evil, but his actions ended messing all things for friends and foes alike. *Original Zero* is a tyrant, he may have his qualities but in the end he will kill anyone who threats his organization status quo, he is too blind to see all things that he does not stop his clone or Igniz and overall was just a tool for a greater evil. *Igniz* the desilusional god wannabe who despises all humans around him, a good mastermind behind the saga but he falls in the villain ball in the end, he fail to realise what Kyo, Iori or K' discovers in the kof tournaments... to surpass all their limits and fight destiny... he was just an observer rather than a fighter. What I like about the NESTS saga is that the bad guys are humans (not an ancient god, demons, aliens, etc) It showed the darkest side of humanity. That is why I like about the NESTS saga and its bosses. The darkest saga in my opinion.

It doesn't make sense that the Zero from kof 2000 is part of the Nest team, he's supposed to be a traitor. Did you play kof 2000 or did you forget?

The NESTS Boss Team, the most fashionable team ever. I hope we see this team in KOF XV Although I am not sure why O. Zero and Krizalid would like to work for Igniz again if they didn't know (as many members of the syndicate) Igniz was a true leader of NESTS all this time. Anyway, Thank you Ultimate Player TAS It was a very fun video to watch ^_^

9:31 I know Krizalid was a villain but I think he truly cared about Whip. I still remember the ending of the Ikari Team in KOF '99, one of the saddest endings in the series 😢 The worst part is that Whip had to killed Krizalid in KOF 2001 10:15 That's a dream match! Battle of 'brothers' (If you think that the clones can be considered as relatives) fighting over who is Whip's true brother. I hope we see Krizalid in KOF XV just to see his interactions with K' and Whip. 11:38 Nameless, the only one who didn't betrayed NESTS. What an idiot. Love can make people do stupid things

Krizalid is In My Opinion, still one of the Best Bosses of the NESTS Saga, even though he was Blinded by his Loyalty to the NESTS Syndicate, he was still a great Villain with an Ultimate Goal of using an Army of Kyo Clones for War, I can actually Accept the Fact that both Krizalid and K' are indeed Brothers (despite that Krizalid was the "Clone" and K' is the "Original"), Clones are still considered as Family Members.

@@joseurbina3835 Yeah. Krizalid was a great villain. I like his connection with K' and Whip, the main protagonists of that saga. As I have said, he is a tragic villain. I felt sorry for him when he died, all his life was a lie. If Clones can be considered as Family Members that means Kyo got many family members during the NESTS saga XD You know, Kyo-1, Kyo-2, Kusanagi (2002 only), K9999. Nameless is an special case because he is the 9999th experimental body with K' and Kyo's genes

9:31 *"Brother vs Sister"* (AKA Semi-Canon Fight) 10:15 *"Original vs Clone"* (AKA Canon Fight) Still one of the Best Rivalries in the KOF series, it's such an absolute waste how Krizalid was revived for nothing when he Re-Appeared in KOF 2001 as one of O. Zero's Strykers, hopefully it'll all be Fixed when KOF XV is comes out eventually (it is already implied that Krizalid is canonically Alive now).

I really like the rivalry between K'/Whip vs. Krizalid. As much as I like KOF 2001, I have to admit it was a shame we could never play as Krizalid, especially because his design in 2001 is excellent. That coat is very stylish. I was talking with a friend about how it would have been better if Original Zero was the final boss in KOF 2001 and keeping Ron (or Krizalid) as the sub boss. Moving Igniz to be the final boss in 2002 so the game can have an actual story. What do you think? Do you like the idea?

@@meganinten0078 I definitely would've prefered *O. Zero* as the better Final Boss for KOF 2001 instead of *Igniz,* like you said on your other Comment, *O. Zero* is a Tyrant, he does have Qualities but he will kill anyone who threats his Organization, which further proofs that he's more Evil than *Ignis.* I definitely wanted *Krizalid, Ron,* but instead of the "Black Lion" maybe add in *Rocky* (from Robo Wars) as the Sub-Bosses in KOF 2001 (similar to the KOF 2001 and 2002 Manhua Stories) instead of being just Strykers, and we could have some interesting Special Interactions too, K' and Whip being shocked that Krizalid was Alive, Lin settling the score with Ron, Maxima reuniting with his old friend Rocky, This is how I Picture the KOF 2001 Story Finale, your Story depiction was really Great, so maybe I thought that I could borrow those Elements into my Vision on the KOF 2001 Story.

Also, the fight against O. Zero in the manhua was great. I like your ideas about Krizalid, Ron and Rocky as the subbosses. The Black Lion can stay as O. Zero's personal stryker.

@@joseurbina3835 I personally won't erase Igniz He works as the big boss. As I have said, he is a manipulator but actually really powerful. His selfish motivation works too. The ending of the Hero Team in 2001 is one of my favorites. "We may have been created by he who aspires to godhead but we were not born to be simply die away" I would put Igniz as the final boss in KOF 2002 (and maybe putting Misty as the subboss like how she was able to fight against Diana and Kula in the manhua) Introducing Igniz earlier in the story of 2002 would improve his character in my opinion. Just keep the NESTS Team in both games, 2001 and 2002 The NESTS saga could have been better with 4 chapters instead of 3 but we know there were problems 'behind the scene'

I still don't like Original Zero's voice in 2002 UM, he sounds very tired. His voice in 2001 was better. Also, it's a shame they didn't put Krizalid's first phase from '99 in the roster.

His VA got pretty old; he's also known for voicing Rugal, Heidern and '95 Saishu. I kinda wish they kept Norio Wakamoto as Omega Rugal and casted Jouji Nakata as O. Zero.

@@luminousepoque8666 Yeah. It was cool when Norio Wakamoto voiced Omega Rugal. I agree. Jouji Nakata could work as the voice for O. Zero. He was the seiyuu for Goodman, a final boss in Neo Geo Battle Coliseum.

You activate HSDM once you're at 20 or 30% I think. 1 hp is just for the challenge haha
