Sonic 3 & Knuckles completed with Knuckles. Tired of always doing ring-attacks and 100% runs, Knuckles has finally decided it is his turn to break the game in an any% TAS. This run uses a disassembly of the game in order to use the most of every trick.
This is a an improvement of 01:04.93 thanks to better optimization and faster implementation of level wraps.

AYE!!! My boy Takz did it again! And he used my HCZ2 Wrap! Also I improved cnz 1 by using the spike clip found in the sonic any% run

I've never seen anyone beat Marble Garden act 1 by beating act 2, the fuck happened there

Perhaps we can go over whenever its possible to do the exact same setup as the sonic tas as of recent discoveries
You know after watching the sonic tas get imporved i have to wonder if you can do the same as for knuckles and save a significant of time just like the sonic tas although i do have questions as to how would the setup would go

I don't understand how they know where to go when it's scrolling through the level super quickly. Unless it just drops them off at a certain point once it's done scrolling

So firstly it’s a Tool Assisted speedrun, which means it’s a replay of scripted inputs Secondly, they use cam hack and multiple interactions to get this done
Damn impressive. And i thought i was quite fast but i played it normally and i used debug cheats lol

It's the Act 2 boss for Sonic, for whom Tails appears. The game produces him on the screen as he's supposed to carry Sonic even in a Sonic-only playthrough. Knuckles had to jump specifically, so that Tails would appear. Only when he appears, the game allows the act to finish.
