Heard this song in 2003 in Pakistan. My dad sent me a Sony Walkman along with a cassette which contained this song. I used to listen to it until I lost my walkman with the cassette in 2006. In 2007 I moved to the UK and have been here since. I never remembered the lyrics which is why I never found this song again. With all the technology and software that followed like shazam for example the dream of finding this song never came. You have no IDEA the nights I reminisced over the years because the melody was in my head. Its is currently 2.11am in Edinburgh and I was bored so decided to watch this film "Hot summer Night" which is turning out to be a good film. At 47.10 in the film this song kicks in and here I am 4mins later. After 17 years I have it. No one is as happy as me right now. I will copy/paste this comment on the other videos of this same song so that the world knows destiny arrived.

Being an 80's Baby & 90's Kid I remember hearing this song but not knowing the title or artist who sung it. Now getting closer to my 40's I'm rediscovering all this music that I grew up on but didn't know and have a new appreciation for it!

I wonder how many people are coming to listen to this song expecting it to be a song made for Luke Perry's son who's a wrestler in All-Elite wrestling, and then they find out this song has been out for over 35 years?

I remember from my childhood my dad playing all his old songs. This one was my favorite. I never knew the title. Thanks for bringing back old memories. The best years of my life were back then as a kid.

I can just hear Daily's Place singing this in all it's glory and holy hell it's bloody brilliant.

The old heads love the music I put on at work.. I'm glad I have older brothers to educate me.

Remember dancing this with a girl in a school disco in the middle of 80's. We both knew there was something nice to be done with the opposite sex but didn't know exactly what it was. Oh, it was such an innocent, sweet time.

@@mariafabiolaalvarezgonzale3172 Speaking as someone who also grew up during the 70s and 80s - not all of today's stuff is bad. For example, there is a song out right now called Circles by the group Post Malone - I find it to be very soothing and relaxing. And also I like the song Broke, by lovelytheband - and Sit Next To Me, by Foster The People - all these songs that I've mentioned here are so nice that they could actually compete with the stuff that we grew up with, at least in my humble opinion.

Always loved this 80s song!

Heard this song in 1991 during the college trip to visit various places in South India. Amazing song. Still going great. Many of the old songs standing the test of time and very relaxing to hear every time.

This song holds special childhood memories! Summer of '85, I was 11, my sister was 7 and our mother took us on summer vacation to the British Channel Island of Guernsey!! Great times as a kid!!!

This song reminds of summers with my dad as a kid. Miss those days.
