I genuinely enjoy how the family has dialogue and subtitles, Dawang has dialogue and subtitles 😀 🐕‍🦺 💕 💕 💕 Dianxi is so passionate about cooking and caring for Dawang, I have seen my aunt's children mistreat their dog and it ached my heart. I asked if I could adopt him instead and I did. He is a very happy dog! It's important to give love, respect and compassion to pets, they love us and care for us back.

In Samoa, never in a million years we've ever thought of using that part of the Taro at that stage. The baby leaves we called Luau are soft for palusami. (Coconut milk and onions baked in the leaves). Anyhow, the menu looks amazing. And...can't leave Dawang out...he needs a table for himself. 🥓🐕‍🦺🤙🏽

Out here in Virginia, our Talo comes from Jamaica. They call it Dasheen. They too have different ways of cooking it. Along with breadfruit and Ta'amu. (A larger version of a similar plant, but it's main edible root grows above ground.) Ta'amu, if you don't cook right...your throat with itch for hours due to an enzyme.😝

In case that you would like to try, stem of taro flower needs peeled and fully cooked (for a long time ), otherwise you tongue will feel numb. From Yunan, China.

I came from south China, in my hometown, people also follow the four seasons to eat vegetables and fruits. I keep this habit when I immigrate to Canada. I never eat cabbages in Summer, as well I only eat white carrot in winter because either the cabbage or the white carrot taste with its natural sweetness in winter instead of other seasons.

Here in Spain we love eat snails too!! The food you cook looks like delicious!!
