Great, great selection. Thanks for taking the time. She is for sure a lyric spinto . That dark timbre and powerful high notes are a treat to senses. Couldn't perceive that until she started her solo career for good. How much her voice has grown since she left Nightwish. That last performance in Brazil clearly shows how imprisoned she felt there, it is like a volcano waiting to erupt.

Besides her powerful sound and timbre on high notes, she can also reach notes that are too low for a soprano voice.

I love Tarja's evolution as a singer and artist! Wow! She has developed her talent to such a high extent! What impresses me more is that every year her voice sounds better and bigger! She's my biggest inspiration to follow my dreams and always improve :)

@NicoleAlicjaB 6.16 is Song To The Moon (Dvorak), 7.07 Still Of The Night (White Lies Beneath - mid-way through the song), 9.45 Enough (My Winter Storm). A couple of the others you listed are from her Classical Performances - some you might find under Tarja Miskolc Or Savonlina Opera Festival. Hope that helps.

Não acho que ela soprano, tá mais pra mezzo, embora ela não aceite isso. No mínimo, mínimo, mínimo mesmo ela é uma soprano spinto.

@@Jean-kp4td Sim, porém no canto lírico existem as chamadas ''Sub Classificações'' Por exemplo, no soprano existe: Soprano lírico, soprano leggero, soprano spinto, soprano dramático, soprano coloratura. As sopranos Spinto são raras, talvez isso explique pq a voz da Tarja é tão linda, forte e diferente, mas todas essas classificações são de soprano, então ela é soprano.
