Very interesting interview, even is 8 years old, allways revealing. 13:36 This question is brutal and the remembrance of the moment almost made her cry. Nasty outcome from Tuomas's "revenge", she being exiled. Thank you for these gems you gift to us!

Always the best to see her Finnish interviews were she can expand on her answers as she pleases. I feel like the English speaking ones are very repetitive and she does not elaborate much. Agree with the other user that the minute 13:36 is still delicate.. Anyway, it is a real shame that a milestone such as performing at the Savonlinna Opera festival was not filmed! A place were she studied and singing with Jose Cura. The closest to an opera performance she has ever done is not immortalized on disc. What a shame.. There's only one or two fan footage videos around... She still does not perform much in Finland compared to a country like Germany. She does classical and Christmas shows there but not many rock concerts at all anymore. Not her market...I think it might be the place where her rock audience really took a hit after being fired. I felt the UK to also be a tough market for her. A place where there was not much interest in her music. However, a couple of years ago that rapidly changed. She has played quite a few times and even filmed part of Act 2 there. The USA is the next big step and, again, the niche market for European metal acts has been gaining traction and, subsequently, people are finding out about Tarja and getting interested on her music . She has played in the prog power festival and has had a few gigs in NY and the likes. I really look forward to her proper touring it like she announced this week.
