I went from Brazil to Switzerland just because of this concert and I cried from the beginning until the end of this song. It was so special. For sure a core memory.

Just a few days ago, I watched End of an Era, and I thought sadly, never ever again we'll hear those two together again. And now this... Our metal God is a gracious one!

Same here, im 27 now and i saw them live at sweden rock or if it was in Roskilde when i was 8 years old visiting my father. That memory is still very clear and this band have been my favorite ever since. This performance have a strong emotional impact on me! 🥲❤

“Sing once again with me our strange duet...” Such poignant lyrics to start with. Seeing them perform together at the Christmas shows was emotional in its own way after all those years, but them being united to sing Phantom again hits different because this is something they actually used to perform together.

Tarja has changed her style, it's an enormous pleasure for eyes just to watch it and the sound...

After 18 years we can enjoy another marvellous duet of Tarja and Marko!!! This will go down in history as one of their best duets ever💗 The intro is just like the musical and gave me goosebumps. The Phantom of the Opera is their trademark song! I am in awe! Tarja and Marko are magnificent! I got teary eyed when they hugged😍These emotional voices combined in one is just paradise💗💗💗🇫🇮🎶🥳Long live Finland for giving us such amazing artists!!!

I was there too and this evening was absolutely great ... I think the whole crowd was hoping for a joint song of these two. My friend and I were still joking after Marco's song with Delain ... so and now another song together with Tarja ... and imagine they sing the Phantom. The two of us ... nooo, they will definitely not sing this song ... Well, and then the first sounds of the Phantom rang out and I'm pretty sure the whole crowd thought something like this .... NO WAY, OHMYGOD, OHMYGOD, OHMYGOD Yeah, it was for me not the best version of this song I ever heard ... but the two of them, this song, together, after 18 years ... I think you can also clearly see with both of them how much this joint song has touched them emotionally

I am more than super HAPPY they got to play together. ¡They sound harmoniously AMAZING! I knew since the announcement they would play this epic song. It couldn't have been any other way. That said, Tarja was on FIRE!!! She was full of energy, she was a beast. Marko on the other hand was kinda shy, when he entered even sang very low which was kinda weird. And in the end he went epic higher but not for so long, maybe he has problems with his voice. I don't know, I am just absurdly happy this just happened. Now they are doing this again I can see Dead To The World, Planet Hell and many other masterpieces brought back to life with them two at front. HUNGRY FOR MORE!!!!!

Correct if I’m wrong, but the last time Marco sung this song was with her 18 years ago, and he only just been back active as performer , a solo performer at that plus i wouldn’t be surprised if he feels a little overwhelmed as a whole with the situation. As for Tarja, comparing this to EOAE performance, she has definitely grown so much as an artist.

To the person who filmed this...HUGE THANK YOU...not just for the video but mainly to let us listen to it with no damn hysterical screams and bad singing like other idiots done shooting videos of this moment!!! Big thumbs up. The only downside was the quality of sound...but considering the alternatives...this is way better due to the lack of unwanted hysteria!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hay una química única entre ellos dos. He visto a Tarja cantar junto a mucha gente: Clementine, Alissa, Doro, Scorpions, Asspera, Within Temptation, etc. Pero Marco le permite explayarse en un terreno que no es muy habitual en ella. Se sintonizan de manera mutua, por decirlo de otra forma, vuelan a la misma altura y les da la oportunidad de reavivar ese lazo que existía en Nightwish pero que no pertenecía a esa banda. Y si, se notó que fue una performance especial para los dos, no fue la más pulida a nivel técnico, de hecho no se cuánto más va a interpretar esta canción Tarja, ya está grande y la voz cambia, pero sí hubo sentimiento, emoción. Coincido totalmente y lo más lindo es que la voz de Tarja se lleno de nostalgia, de emoción, ahi estuvo el detalle... pero no podemos esperar que lo cante como hace 20 años atrás... ese tema en NW es una joya FOREVER. I wouldn't pay much attention to anything in "a day before tommorrow". That's basically a propaganda piece. If you'll notice it's 100% filmed and edited by Ewo Pohjola. He and his 2 partners in the management team had a big hand in what happened.

All those people saying Marko sounds bad. WTF? He changed his singing style, he is now singing a lot gentler and sometimes more quiet, but he is still reaching the notes. Sadly the recording seems to be not that great (no surprise, it's a phone). By the way, I'm not a fan of his new singing style, I prefered the more aggressive tone that he had when he was younger. But it's ridiculous to claim that he became a bad singer.
