I listened to all of this. The sister had an interesting viewpoint but honestly a lot of it was talking for the sake of talking. Tariq was clear on what the mission was, clear on what needed to be done and CLEARLY outlined what his ethnic group was. NO CONFUSION. Some of us like to talk flowery and waffle, but the reason why I listen to Tariq is because he cuts out all the BS and just gets straight down to the nitty gritty. This is why he dominates in these group sessions.

Education almost brainwashed me. Until I started asking for what is due to me. That whole I don’t see color 💩. Changed real fast when my thought process changed. I realized all I learned was how to sound educated while talking in circles.

I was JUST eating lunch yesterday with some Africans from Benin. They were extremely honest. They hate for us to do that Ancestry. Com stuff bc they themselves even said, WE'RE NOOOOO longer African. We have the blood, but culturally We're not. And I'm perfectly fine with that. I'm a Black American who's ancestors fought supremacy RIGHT here in the Southern USA 🇺🇸

With all due respect to the Doctor; she has romanticized the idea of African culture within Foundational Black America. The fact that she is dressed in African garb makes me think that she’s looking too escape into anything but American Blackeness. Be proud of what we’ve done here in this country.

@Iola Doll, This doctor is speaking in such a way as not to "offend" white people and THAT is why you see her constantly looking wide-eyed and hear her voice quivering. She actually WAS trying to sugar coat the issues initially....BUT after Tariq presented Fact after undeniable Fact THEN she began to express agreement. She knew that she was out of her league and could not confidently express an oppossing viewpoint. Some people nod & agree simply to avoid cinflict or possible embarrassment...OR maybe she actually did come to a place of realization. Either way I hope that Tariq was able to plant some seeds of wisdom in her that is BEYOND intellect.
