As skye, on pistol round, dog or flash is useful no matter what happens. Heal is only useful if your teammates survive at low hp and you have 5 seconds of breathing room to heal them which is not every game. Most skye players I know go dog/frenzy or dog/ghost or dog/armor on pistol. I experimented with heal and found that about half of all rounds heal did nothing at all, or in a few cases actually got me killed when I pulled it out and the enemy swung at that exact moment. I almost never bring heal on pistol.

@@dshyon If everyone on your team dies before you can heal them, then heal had zero impact on the round. It was a waste of money. If they survive the first fights but the second group of guys swings too fast for you to get the heal off, heal had no impact on the round. It was a waste of money. If you pull out a heal and the enemy team swings you right at that moment, it was an active detriment to the round as you died when otherwise you might have had your pistol out and been able to fight back. Heal is only good if your team wins the first set of fights and then you have time to heal them before the second set of fights happens. Its a win more card. If you brought dog or a second flash, those are useful whether your team is winning or not.

@@VortexMagus You're talking about a specific scenario that doesn't happen often on a pistol round. As a Skye initiator, your job is to flash and get info so that doesn't happen. Pulling out a heal where an enemy can swing and kill you is your fault. You're just showing your rank here. "I can heal you, come to me" is my most used line on pistol round while playing Skye. You see how that works? You get cover on a post plant or you get the heal going before a retake. Buying a dog first round is hardly useful. You already have a flash to get info. It's not as effective on pistol as it is on full buys.

@@dshyon almost every single imm+ player I've seen on skye buys dog in pistol, unless they're trying to suck the dick of their fave streamer or their duo is super cracked and wins 9 fights out of 10. Dog clears angles and creates free kills. Heal at best gives you an extra half second of life against people who suck and can't click on heads. Heal is only really valuable if your opponents can't headshot, if you are against top level players then 25 hp is the same as 100 hp

As a CN fan, I truly believe that removing the region is better for the future of chinese valorant, at least for now. Then at least teams like fpx and drg can actually improve through playing better, more structured teams in the pacific, and I really do see the potential in them. Also EDG should just disband, I've taken enough of their shit since madrid. They were really shameless enough to perform like that in front of the home crowd.
