TARGETS LOCATED: The Guthrie Family: 46 Years Missing (pt3)

Ойын-сауық

Missing for 46 years, Leslie, a 29-year-old mother, vanished along with her children, Timothy, aged 3, and Julie, aged 6, on February 5th, 1977. The day they disappeared, Leslie was driving her mother's 1974 Ford Maverick, a white sedan with the license plate number 636 WNA. This car, along with Leslie and her children, has not been seen since that day.
At the time of her disappearance, Leslie worked at a local hospital in Katonah, New York. She was known as a dedicated mother and a hardworking employee. The day they went missing was not just another day; it was amidst a tumultuous time in Leslie's life, as she was in the midst of a divorce. The weather was harsh, with a significant snowstorm impacting visibility and road conditions. This has led us to consider various possibilities, including an accident caused by the storm.

Recently, we uncovered a new lead: Leslie made a phone call to her Uncle Billy, who worked at the Air National Guard at Westchester County Airport. This call, the last known contact with Leslie, has redirected our search efforts to specific areas, including Route 100 and Crowhill Road in Mount Kisco.
Our mission is not just a search; it's a commitment to finding answers for Leslie's family and bringing closure to a case that has remained unsolved for too long. We are driven by the hope that our efforts will shed light on what happened to Leslie and her children.
We ask for your support in this endeavor. If you have any information, no matter how small it may seem, please reach out. Your help in sharing our videos and spreading the word about our search is invaluable.

Its one thing if you want to do away with your life, but *effing don't take your children with you, pure selfishness, I have been really down in my life, faced homelessness 5 times, lost 90% of my property, gone without food, utilities, and had suicidal thoughts but I would have never, EVER, taken my child with me.. The missing bridge is the old Somerstown Turnpike alignment. The turnpike was already rebuilt to the east and the bridge of the old alignment taken out when the accident happened. If people look at historical maps of the area, you'll see in 1964, the bridge was there and, but in 1974, it was not.

Just a thought....my daughter had seizures her whole life, but we didn't know it until they turned into grandma seizures at age 13. Before that they were called absence seizures where you just stare off into space. That's why we didn't know she was having seizures. Her siblings called her space cadet. We didn't know until she started having the bigger ones later in life that she had them all along. Apparently, my mom had them too. Could it be that this woman/mother had started having absence seizures? My mom had them while she was driving, but I was there to help her. She just kept driving on some sort of auto pilot but didn't know where she was going. I say this because they said the woman/mother was caught staring at the TV watching nothing. ???

I have this kind of epilepsy. I'm not supposed to drive because of it. It's actually how I found out I was having them. Id' be driving and come to and not know where I was. Like I was on autopilot for some unknown time. Most of the time I do things during this kind of seizure like being on autopilot, but there are times when its not logical too, like once I pulled into oncoming traffic and then couldn't think of how to get off the road. It's super weird, hard to explain why I can't pull thoughts together coherently sometimes. It took a few years but my neurologist found medication to help them, or at least make them much much smaller/shorter. so its only seconds lost instead for many minutes. Good luck with your daughter. There is hope. @@dawnmichelleseidlgodsey120

My sister would have these Absence Seizures before and after a Grande Mal. With the numerous ER visits they found nothing to indicate the source of her seizures; the only health problem was high blood presure.. She started looking and discovered extremely high blood pressure can trigger her seizures, and all of her Grande Mals were at work in a high stress situation.

The title on this one was really misleading, guys. When I saw "Targets Located: The Guthrie Family" I assumed that meant you found "the TARGETS" of this on-going search. Please be mindful of that in future titles... I don't like being mislead. The fact is you still haven't found them. But with all that said, it's INCREDIBLE the time and effort your entire team puts forth to try and locate these lost family members for people... for FREE. I've watched all three parts to this story and I hope you are someday able to actually "Locate the target" so this family can have some "closure". Thank you so much for everything you do!

The Italian car in the water is a Lancia Beta Coupe circa 1976. The 8-spoke alloy wheels and the license plate mounting match exactly. Pause at 17:37 and compare the taillight to a US-spec Beta Coupe, and it also matches right up. The only thing I can't explain is that "128" badge. Another commenter said it may be a dealer badge referring to Route 128 rather than Fiat 128

I'm so thrilled these people exist and have been able to bring closure and solve the bitter torment of weeks, years, even decades of uncertainty searching for answers that have plagued so many families. Please stay safe in everything you do. As an experienced diver myself, the dangers of hypothermia, even in dry suits, is still a very real threat. Even though health monitoring equipment for divers is expensive, it may be worth purchasing if you stay submerged in water long enough to really start cooling down core temperature. This comes from my personal experience of getting too cold when dry suit diving; thought I was just a bit chilled and only got the shivers for about a minute, kept doing the job (took another 20-25 minutes), and by the time I surfaced I couldn't get out without help, or get my gear off, or keep my thoughts staright. It's a very scary and very real threat. All this said, I am very proud of your entire team for doing what you do. Awesome devotion to these cold cases, great skillsets for each team member and good hard work ethics. KEEP UP THE SOLID WORK GUYS; even if nobody is found it still provides some answers, which definitely helps those who are still alive.

I have a question that may be dumb but I have thought of it ever since I started watching. This car has been missing for 46 years. As an example you just went over something that you said was too small to be a car but it was in 7 ft.of water. Couldn't the majority of the car be buried so only 3 feet of it shows? The sonar can't see into the ground can it? Thanks for indulging an old lady's question.

  • @AllynHin

Well, only three feet is exposed now, but when the car first went into the water, it would have been easily spotted if it was only 7 feet deep. The car in the water wouldn't have been a mystery and left undisturbed for 46 years.

Whether you find who you’re searching for or not, you’re still giving families answers to things they have been questioning for years, some decades, by eliminating so many areas. AWP is a true blessing & I continue to hold all of you in prayer for safety, success & for healing of your own emotional stress tied in with what you do. ♥️♥️♥️

Back in the 70's that's how they would put a 'Rake' on the cars, 15" wheels on the back and 14" on the front, and yes, they had the same bolt patterns.

I have 20s on the rear and 18 in the front. Many drag setups still run a different wheel and tire front to back. The mustang Shelby from like 12-14 had 20s rear and 19 front, from the factory. It wasn’t something lost in time. And two Gary’s don’t make a right… lol. I’m a Gary too!

I had a 1963 Comet, the Ford falcon, was very similar, it was a convertible, my first car. I cannot imagine that this family had to deal, with a lost family member so long. Losing a loved one, is bad enough, but not knowing, is horrible.

FYI, Ford requires suppliers to put part numbers on all car parts as long as there's room. Also Ford part numbers are easy to decipher the year and model from the prefix. Any dealer can decipher for you.

The Ford dealer can’t do it for a vehicle that old, unless someone wants to use the microfiche machine. I used to work in a Ford dealership parts department for a number of years, and at the time I left, the computers went back to 1980, but the car in question is a 1974. The number that is on the part is the engineering number, not the actual part number.

I’ve had just another AWP - Marathon! ❤This case has me intriged because it’s so old and obviously very complex - the Guthries might still be out there somewhere - alive. I’ve heard stories of long lost family-members from all around the globe who goes missing for decades and suddenly they turn up on the other side of the world, with new names. It must be horrible for the families to not know of what happend to their loved ones.❤ Now that the Yule season isn’t far away this is probably even worse.😢 I’m sending all of you guys in AWP a warm hug from across the pond , in Northern Norway. ❤I ‘ve got 50 cm of snow outside and minus 21,5 degrees Celcius, so it’s a bit cold, but that brings the joy of winter and of course of Yule / Christmas. 😊🥰😘🤗🎅🏼💃🏻

128 is a new car dealer group out in the Boston area, and they have an emblem like that, so whoever owned it might have a Boston area connection. The 128 was also a Fiat model, but I don’t remember what the emblem was like on those, as it’s been a number of years since I’ve seen one. Route 128 is a highway that goes through the suburbs of Boston, and it’s now part of Interstate 95.

this is still one of the most poignant series of films i ever watch, so positive even when vehicles are not found it would be amazing to create a public database of information where loved ones can see where and when AWP have been, when they dived and what they found and if recovered or identified - this can also be cross referenced against police records, so they themselves can keep updated, ok so someone could easily drive a car in the following day making that record out of date, but it does mean anyone with a sonar could reference the website, see what is known about and what isn't, if its new, obviously its recent, but over the coming years it could be proven to become a very useful tool, for everyone, its really a case of promoting such a site, so that everyone knows of it, and where to look for information, public awareness, perhaps posters are required

Maybe start going to homeless communities in your area? Often times, addicts will go no contact with families because they feel they don’t deserve to be a part of their families lives due to all the pain they’ve caused as a result of their addiction because despite all of the bad things their addiction makes them do, they carry a ton of guilt. They’re not bad people, just people who do bad things because they have a disease. Maybe working with an organization feeding the homeless… You might find him along the way, you might not, but I promise you’ll gain a whole new perspective about them. Just know, he may not want to come home, but you’ll at least know where he is. My heart goes out to you, and I hope one day you find him. Prayers and good thoughts coming your way!

Back in the '50s '60s and '70s no cars came with aluminum mag wheels. But they did come with steel rally wheels, a barn find does not mean a car is factory, a barn find means exactly what it means you found a classic car close to factory if not some of them built into old race cars
