I am 29 and don't have any children, don't work in education, don't need any kind of stationary for my work and I live in Australia but here I am getting excited about school supplies coming out in Florida.

I'm in love with school supplies, I went to college to be a teacher, then decided to homeschool my 4 kiddos but either way it gets me every time! I'd love to decorate a "real" classroom one day! After my kids are grown I suppose!!

THE WADS Your fun is just beginning! LOL. Wait till she’s about 15ish. 😂 My youngest just graduated and we are planning an open house party for him (small of coarse). Here in Michigan we have open houses/graduation parties when you graduate HS. I just want a party for myself and my hubby for surviving and successfully getting 3 kids through school! Where’s our party?!?!? No fair! LOL 😂🤣😂🤣😂

We are homeschooling!! And I 100% agree the pencil case reminds me of saved by the bell!!!

I am not sending my son back. I hope they make it official. He really wants to go! I am not willing to take the risk. Everyone seems to be saying the infection rate among kids is low, but most of us are keeping our kids inside, at least home, so how do we know what will happen if we get them all together again? Colds and flu will probably be worse too because their immune systems have been suppressed from no foreign germs. It will be a big petri dish 😭😭😭

I NEED that little lemon tree and my Target doesn't have it! :( Side note...I heard some Target employees talking and one of them said, "Why are we putting out all of this back-to-school stuff if nobody is going back-to-school?" I had thought the same thing. I'm just glad we already homeschooled before all of this started so I don't have to make a decision about sending my kids back. I'm sure it's very hard for parents right now!

We homeschool anyway( you can do it nervous moms) BUT I still love all the back to school stock . My last name is also Lemons so I almost feel it’s my responsibility to buy all the Lemon decor

I've always loved school supplies. My sister and I both have August bdays, so school supplies and back-to-school clothes were sometimes also counted as birthday presents. Lame! LOL. Back-in-the day, Lisa Frank designs on school supplies was all the rage. I mean, who didn't NEED a panda riding a carousel horse through space while dodging candy corn and lollipops on a trapper keeper?

Homeschooling my kiddos ... I love the back to school shopping! I love restocking our supplies!!!

We are a homeschool family so that will continue! I’m actually so excited for unit studies with my boys!

Definitely homeschooling my kids this year. Especially with our numbers sky rocketing.. nope. I have asthma, my son has asthma and when I even get colds I get super sick always so I can only imagine what would happen if I caught covid. I miss Disney, I miss the gym, but I’d rather be away for now then forever.

WE were already considering homeschooling, so when the craziness happened it was just like "WELL. THAT'S an easy decision." XD Homeschooling it is!

Homeschooling this year we’re not risking it. We have one going into 1st grade and another in kindergarten and one in pre k well get some for our stash at home but it’s just not worth the risk to send them

I'm a nerd for school supplies as well!! My kid's school is offering online school, which we are doing. They have the option of fully online, part online and part going in, and then fully going in to school.

We have always done online public school but we still buy a lot of supplies each year just because! Lol I love school supplies. Its probably the only thing I've ever loved about school

This is my favorite shop with me I have ever seen!! You go through so much i felt like i was there with you. We were supposed to visit family in the states but due to covid we couldn't. Thank you for virtually taking us with you. Now I can go online and order all the cute stuff and have my family send it to us. Hehe. Going through the food section in target would be fun too. I have a question if school do decide to open do I have the option to home school my daughter I mean I know I do I’m her mother but how will she get credit in school and etc? I guess i will just have to look into it. But I’m really hoping school does not open back up if things haven’t slowed down and by the looks of it is not . 🙏🏽 praying it does

We're homeschooling for the first time this year. It made me a little sad to see all the back to school stuff. We'll still pick up some stuff for our homeschool stash.

My mom works for the School District in my hometown in California and they just announced to the employees that the kids will be doing the virtual learning starting in the fall and will not go back to school until there is 7 consistent days of no new COVID-19 cases 🙃

FYI..... when you were talking about Amazon having things for cheaper than Target, just wanted to let you know that Target will price match Amazons price on anything! It's such an awesome policy they have. I have saved SO much money by checking Amazon for the product (at least the more expensive items....). Just pull up the item and show at checkout and they will override the price 👍👍

30:22 we bought those colorful caddys with 3 sections one in each color and use them for movie night🤗🙌the long side we put popcorn in, one small section a drink, the other small section candy...kids love and they have their own color

Whenever I wake up and have a notification that you posted a new video, it makes my day!! I'm a 2nd grade teacher in Houston, TX and we've been told very little about what to expect next year. All we know is that our district is offering online and in-person and parents will choose what they prefer. We keep being told that we will know something, then the next update they still don't have anything to say. It's very frustrating.

Hey neighbor! I'm in San Marcos TX over here. Our school board is meeting on Monday to decide. All I know is that with my son going in to 1st grade all I want to do is keep him home! He misses school but I just can't see those little ones wearing masks all day. Bless you for being a Teacher:💜

I’m in the houston area as well! every teacher I’ve talked to (different districts from fort bend to la porte) has told me the same thing you’re saying. online and in person, parents choice. I bet a lot of parents want to send them back because they work and can’t keep the kids fed/entertained. it’s a double edged sword tho bc the cases are 100% sure to go up again if they do go back. also, not every kid has access to technology for online schooling.... what a predicament

@@mediumbelly my district actually recently announced we're moving to be a 1 to 1 district and they will also provide wifi hotspots to those in need. They are hoping to start handing out technology before the first day of school. That will be super helpful to those wanting to keep their kiddos home. I agree with you that its a double edge sword. Based on surveys I've been seeing, it looks like a lot of parents want to do online, but I'm not sure what will happen when the time to actually make that decision comes. Its going to be interesting.

I love the white one. It's gorgeous! Black is way too hot in the sun. I live in Southern California and it was 107 degrees today. OMG! I used to love that Nick Lowe song. I remember holding my transistor radio against my bicycle handlebar while riding to the park, singing along. Hadn't thought of that in years. Thanks for your gift of gab, btw, it makes a great background while I get some late-night work done. Also, Target should pay you.

This has come too soon for me. In NY we just began our summer break and this gives me a bit of anxiety since we do not know what to expect come fall. I feel supplies will be needed less this year and technology use will be used more since we will have blended learning.

The watermelon Raw Sugar hand soap is my abolute faaaaavvvorite! And it lasts forever. True story, I bought it for the first time simply because the bamboo on the pump looked so fancy. I'm bummed they removed it. I still have one original empty bottle. I might just refill it or swap the pump, lol. I use the lemon scent in the kitchen.
