Hello good video! I have a question for you regarding connecting the Taramps 3000 1 ohm amplifier to the subwoofer. From the amplifier outputs do you go directly to the subwoofer or do you have an active filter to give a further frequency cut? I have your same amp but it doesn't perform as well as in your video. I'm driving a Bassface 12" double coil subwoofer at 2 Ohms in parallel which becomes 1 ohm but it doesn't pump enough. What do you recommend? Thanks

James Shehan depends what type of batteries you’re running, just don’t let it drop below 11.5v , even that i seen other guys torturing them under 10V with out issues but not good. Anyway they come with a clipping indicator so you can see what’s going on. Check my Taramps playlist, maybe you can learn a little bit of my own videos

James Shehan before i was using the HD 8000 2ohm version on 16V no problem. One day i forgot to unplug my charger and it went above 16V it went under protection, but warranty pay to fix it. After that i never had an issue with it.

face that box towards the back watch the pressure change but add great stuff in rhe doors in layers so it doesn't swell and crack the door and at nice thick weather stripping around the window and I guarantee u will be impressed

Keep them at the right voltage and your good they will get quite warm under 11 volts but they have a built in fan

I have a taramps hd3k to a db drive plt15wd in custom birch box with stock alt 1 battery did great just added another battery for amps sake but it's what you would think great amp just take care of it

+Deshon Singletary yes full power at 1ohm. If you get a taramps look for HDs models the ones with the voltmeter on it. They're new models

You’ll only see 2k if your voltage is dropping to 12 volts, keep it above 14 volts and it will get right 3k watts
