Have nothing against this guy, but my only opinion of him is his videos, which causes more drama than needed. I have never seen him or a video of him giving out free food. If he does then great, but he needs a publicist to help him navigate this crazy social media because he’s going to ruin his brand trying to always have the last word on every situation.

Keith Lee has always come across as a humble guy to me based in what I see on social media. He really tries to help small businesses. I think this is all a mishap and for whatever reason BET decided to switch their seats and no one informed Taraji. I think they both could have handled it better.

My opinion : were all human and not perfect. Taraji couldve handled it better but she was annoyed. She has alot of loyal fans and fans seeing their fav annoyed they go crazy. Keith lee backtracked his rose drop was because his wife was upset. Then he realized people love taraji not smart so backtracked back into his semi monk theatrics of life is purpose and were all energies. Viacom bought BET in 2001 for 3 Billion and I remember it was a very sad day for Black Americans- we knew it would destroy the channel and look it has! I grew up watching BET and it had great music with great uplifting black entertainment- I hope it’s black owned again because it’s up for sale now! Tyler Perry was going to buy last year but something fell through- let’s hope!

IMO, HE blew it out of proportion with his post. I think Taraji was spot on, his ego was hurt but he'll be alright.

I don’t know if you realized but the “celebrity” as you remember it hasn’t been a thing for years and social media stars are the new celebrities. Rhoa, baddies, the kardashians type shows are the topic of conversation mixed with some “celebrity” news here and there because they’re all in the same boat. Some social media people even make more than some of your actors and actresses. Also BET needs people like Keith Lee there because his social media following will bring in viewers which they need and he too is a part of the celebrity world now. He didn’t invite himself but the whole situation wasn’t the deep and is being dragged on too long and will be forgotten in a few weeks.

It was his moment. She said 10.9 out of 10 to align her joke with his food reviews. The joke was bad and giving him the rose was bad. He was being dramatic with both of these videos. And calling out BET for changing his seat or being unprofessional is so unnecessary, she just didn’t realize you were in a different spot. Be thankful you were in the room and enjoy the show and the fact that you were even part of the skit.

What I notice you did not mention anything about management Keith lee spoke about . they should’ve informed Taraji about the seat change . He didn’t have no beef with her. It was production that set it up.

I hear him BUT regardless if he FELT like that was his moment or not, it was still an opportunity that was given to him and his wife. You don't want the recognition but you accept the invite to attend the BET Awards? Plus he was sitting in the front row? If you don't want the recognition, then why accept the invite? He has a right to feel however he wants to feel but I think he should've humbled himself and let it go. I think he only made that post because he felt embarrassed on national TV. Rightfully so. If he didn't feel like she meant any harm then why post about it and then later delete it? Why he didn't call out BET's poor production in that post?
