Queen Latifah is the definition of a renaissance women. She conquered music, tv, movies and more and did it on her own terms. In her own lane. Taraji was so right when she said that Queen's journey is one to be studied.

"Street" isn't an insult. I think it's saying that they were born in an environment entirely different from where they are now and have been able to maintain their roots while still flourishing in this new space. I definitely agree with the "salt of the earth" statement, though! That was a great way of putting it it.

1 minute into the interview and Queen said what EVER person who's been following Taraji has been thinking - girl has been poppin' and representing since Baby Boy!

Venus G. The conversation was just authentic and natural -- and super engaging for the viewer. Taraji especially had nice questions; you could tell her curiosity was really spinning and it paid off to hear those great responses from Queen Latifah, who is genuine and lovely as well. Like I said before, conversations as authentic as this, while effortlessly... engaging are few and far between.

Proud of Latifah! Been down with her since 'Wrath of My Madness" in 1989. She's come along way (with her big sexy self)! Taraji is worldwide right now and has limitless range as an actress. Much respect to both of these queens!

I'm a black female currently earning a BFA degree in Acting. This is very inspiring to me, thank you for this gift! Phew, it must be nice to be a star and have the freedom to go with whatever lines you feel appropriate. If we tried that in my school, we risk getting kicked out of class LOL!

I have loved the Queen from the jump. But have only been a fan of Taraji's for a few years and I must say this lady is a force to be reckoned with.

she played Bessie and I didn't hear about it till now?!?!?! she deserved all the Oscars. Bessie was a huge part to the starting point of jazz and real soul, I mean she was the inspiration to Billie who could sing what she felt and be an icon and an influence to musicians everywhere. I am furious!
