    I've been doing tumblers for a while, and I just recently considered taping the tops and bottoms. You answered pretty much every question I had. Thanks! And the designs on the tumblers you were working on were amazing! I'll have to see your other videos to see how you did that. Wow!

    Awesome!!! Thanks a lot!!! I want to start leaving a seem because I m afraid that some people get water in it if I don’t seal it right. It’s easily to not seal it right way if going all the way up.

    The only thing I like about this taping off from bottom is when people drop it to hard they can crack, so seeming off like this for some is a great idea! I am doing a cpl right now, one being for my daughter who always drops things, this is great for people like her.. I do love to do the fully top to bottom but I'm gonna see how this works for a change.. Thanks for the tidbit!

    Do you keep the tape on while you’re painting, mod podge, glitter? Pull it off while it dries? Then put it back on to epoxy? I’m a newbie lol.

    Hey Jackie. I tape off and then paint. I pull the tape and reapply for loctite and glitter, and seal. (I don't use mod podge). Then pull the tape and retape before epoxy. Then I pull it off after about 10-15 minutes of epoxy application. Hope that helped.

    Jana, 2 questions please. Would you do a quick instructional video on how you do your molds to add as gifts? Also, would you mind sharing the colors again on the tumbler we just watched you epoxy? Thank you and it’s beautiful. Oh and 3rd question, what type of tripod do you use for your phone to be able to manipulate it like you do. Thanks again.

    I will do a video on the keychains. The colors on the glitterflow cup were from Iconnectwithglitter (coral, cotton candy, sky blue) and the yellow was one someone had given me. The tripod is a Gorilla pod from Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005HY4U4Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1With this cell phone attachment. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005HY4U4Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Thank you so very much. I have heard about the molds and making keychains and would love to see how it works. I do appreciate it. I think that’s the same tripod I ordered but it wouldn’t hold my iPhone having a case on it. I thought there might be another option. Thanks for sharing the link.

    Thank you for this! My only question is, I tried this and my top and bottom edges were rough, like I didn’t get enough epoxy on them..even though I rubbed just those areas at times...do you tape right at the line or do you leave a little teeny tiny stainless steel showing...

  • @JMARIEDESIGNED

    @JMARIEDESIGNED

    I do leave just a smidge of a gap between the glitter and the tape, so I get a good seal of the epoxy to the stainless. Maybe 1/16" it isn't much at all. Just enough that the epoxy is sealed to the stainless and that helps eliminate any rough edges on the glitter, too. Hope that helped.

    Do you pull the tape after spray paint? If you use modpodge to apply glitter do you pull tape right after that as well? Sorry but I am new to this. I do not sell I make for myself friends an family. Thanks hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙

    Hey Kourtney, I tape off probably 99% of my tumblers. I rarely do full top to bottom glitter. Personal preference, mostly, but also that is just the style I offer.

    How do you remove epoxy that has smudged back onto the silver rim? I always get some epoxy under my tape where they connect, sometimes it's really thin but, should I use acetone to remove it? I don't think that cutting it off would work for such a thin smudge and I'm afraid of scratching the pretty rim that I created... Thoughts?

    Katie Torres it is still thin enough when I pull tape that if there is a bit that got under where the tape meets up, I just use a baby wipe and clean it off.
