Tapeworm Child SCP-1003

Фильм және анимация

Dr Bob brings you SCP Foundation Keter Class object, SCP-1003 - The Tapeworm Child Animation.
Join the DR BOB SQUAD by going to / drbob and become an Honorary Member of the Dr. Bob Research Staff!
SCP 1003 -1 is an adult tapeworm of the species Echinococcus granulosus, known for causing hydatid disease. Like others of its species, SCP1003 -1 inhabits the small intestines of carnivores (typically canids), where it produces eggs that are passed in the host's faeces.
By 8 weeks, it is as mature as a 3-week-old neonate, although it is similar in size to an 8-week-old embryo (approximately 13-16 cm). Once it has reached this stage, it will actively consume the intermediate host from within using sharp, hooked teeth. SCP-1003-2 growth is accelerated to an even greater extent as it is doing this. By the time it has fully consumed the intermediate host , it will have developed into a child.

    In fact, they never wanted to harm anybody, as least as far as we can tell. It sounds like the parasitic nature of the anomaly may have some sort of Amnestic like 939 or 3000. But also, It reminds us of one thing: Check your Damn Meat, People! Keep in mind, Jorge mentioned the meat being some questionable quantity. Quality in particular also plays a role apparently. I don't think even the Rancher knew just WHAT kind of parasite wandered into the world.

Interesting combo for a video to say at least, and I even joked that if I didn't know better, Lucius had 001-Keter Duty be responsible for setting the two SCPs up together. Of course I didn't mean it. The two combine didn't have neutralizing effect on each other nor did it had any extra annomoulous affect, or the two SCPs contain each other, nor created a new SCP in the process as many of Keter Duty's cross testings have resulted in.

Kind of reminds me of Rogue from X-men. Though the way the girl was happy about "having a brother" maybe means they're more sinister than they let on. Either that or it's just like any other animal happy about having new young, or Dr. Bob just took some creative embellishments and they don't actually react like that in the real scp lore.

    Im really glad the girl wasint evil and didn't kill the man, Its also very concerning on how calm she was with the baby. do you think she felt a sort of connection because it is also a word child. or because that's just how she thought babys are born

  • @discordiacreates6669

    @discordiacreates6669

    My guess is the kid thought it was normal since they have no knowledge of their origins and are blank slates as far as world knowledge goes, like there was no time to explain how babies are supposed to be born and the kid seemed to be naturally inclined to be nurturing so my guess is she was completely confused and reacted how she did because she heard the new child crying and, just like the older mother, her instinct was to want to comfort them. Honestly one of the more tragic SCPs out there since them wanting to get close to people is exactly what dooms their unintentional victims so they can't ever have much of any real human connection or they risk harming anyone around them, poor kids

    @@Potato_tomato47 hmmmmmm but good point, no clue if understanding or instinct though but still an interesting point to note since the kid didn't exactly live long enough at that point to have the concept of siblings explained yet. I'll concede that's a harder one to brush off

    The way the children are born are quite, fascinating. How it feeds off of fat, the size of their birth parent, from an small little unborn baby in a stomach to a child made completely out of human fat is honestly very cool but still disgusting in a way. It intrigues me, I adored the story of This Scp.
